Dropped it off for a clutch replacement.

Got my LJ back this morning, new clutch made all my transmission woes all go away. It has needed it for about 4 years. The last 3 I have had an employer provided vehicle and for what little I drove my Jeep, I kept putting it off. I recently lost my job so it is now my DD again and I couldn't hold off anymore.

On the way back I picked up some rust inhibiting paint in preparation for the new Bedrug carpeting that I will be putting in.

I replaced the tie rod ends. I did not realize how sloppy my steering had gotten. Probably should have done the work 5000 miles ago.

I just did the same - moog'd both the drag link @ pitman end and drivers side tie rod end, what a difference. No more clangs and bangs from the front end over bumps and with fully grease-able units should be easy to keep them tight.

Not the Vector dock. I liked the Vector dock, but didnt want the hoop, and they only offered a short one (not all the way across the dash) when I needed my bar. I'm not sure if they offer the longer version yet, but I still don't like the hoop that goes around the tray. So I made my own.

I actually have a couple more kits waiting for me to get off my butt and post for sale.

Spent 2 hours under it with a pressure washer. I think I still have to have another go at it next weekend, I don't think I got all the Maine mud off of it.
