Well yesterday I finished putting the fender flares back on and cutting/installing inner fenders after the engine rebuild. Today I took it into the mountains for the first time (since I bought it anyway) with 250mi on the fresh motor. Did great, but I couldn't get the t-case into low range. The engine worked a little harder that way but got the job done. Sorry about the ugly front bumper, I haven't had much of a chance to work on my custom bumpers since I've been playing instead! When I got home I gave her a wash--well deserved since she sat in a field for a year then in my garage for almost as long. I'm also hoping to do a 3.5" or so lift this winter so I can put 31s on to match my spare. Currently stock worn-out suspension with 30" tires on '07 Wrangler rims. These shots are from the Caribou National Forest in southern ID.
Sourced some door glass some punks broke out of my jeep XJ back door.......there was nothing there except the radar box that they missed.....idiots. caused enough damage I will most likely buy an alarm ....here's! What morons. Couldn't believe they had to break 2 panes.....
God!!
Primered the JCR rocksliders prepping for paint or MonstaLiner for the '99 XJ.
Finishing up the OME/DPG suspension (3.5") tomorrow hopefully and anxiously awaiting my already ordered AJ's Offroad PHAT-XJ winch bumper and delivery of my new to me (craig's list) Warn XD9000i.
Considering Kevin's Offroad roof rack and a JCR rear tire carrier bumper.
All these are my first steps forward on the XJ I bought in September.
