What do you do with wet muddy gear in a pop up camper?

In the PNW we have a lot of snow, rain and mud for over half of the year. In a pop up camper without a bathroom, where do you put wet jackets and shoes when you come inside?

We have a plastic bin that lives under the dinette and our wet/muddy shoes go in there. We usually shake out our jackets outside to remove the surface water and then hang them up from the bungee cords that stretch from one soft wall to the other. Probably not optimal but works for us.
