Waiting for your re-posting, please, please, please, and super-glad to hear you are back.

Aside from the skill set, we need your sense of humor ! :coffeedrink:

Didn't know I was being useful around here...

I cleaned up & edited my build thread to make it easier to get info out of - damn thing is long...and to reflect the experience using it in the field. I'll post it back up soon. Thanks for the kind words & sorry for the drama - Peter

I'm glad to see you back. Your build is one of the most creative and inspiring. I've been curious about how your heated floor is working out now that you have had it on the trail for a while.

Well considering his post was a month and a half ago and silence since its still to be determined if he'll actually be back. I'm hoping so but that post may have been a glance over the shoulder as he continued to move along on his life path.

I just don't understand why someone would delete all their posts on their way out (and take others contributions in those posts along with them). I'm also unclear why expo even allows that option. Just My $.02

I can understand why someone would want to do it, but I don't know why expo allows it. When someone deletes their own thread, they're also deleting the posts of other users that posted in the thread. It kills the concept of a "forum".

Another forum I frequent had a big problem years ago with people deleting posts and threads, so they made it that a thread can only be deleted by a moderator, and any post can only be edited for certain amount of time (say 1 hour after the initial posting).

Exactly, I don't see why a poster should be able to nuke a joint collaboration of posts.

That type of format is what I'm more familiar with as well.

I have a post on my S10 forum, showing illegal activity that I would like to delete but can't. I can't edit it either. Being able to edit or delete posts can be usefull, but I agree that deleting an entire thread should be something only mods are allowed to do.

On most forums I'm familiar with a message to the mods will take care of those issues if warranted. That cuts down on frivolous editing/deleting and random whims (or even drunken induced modifications for those of us that like the spirits. ;))

Well, that forum isn't too friendly, so I don't know that it would actually be helping me to bring it to their attention if you know what I mean. Hoping to let it just slide under the radar. Doing good so far!

Friendly peer pressure: I saw Basinranger's name show up on my profile visitors list, looks like he logged in 3-12-11 last so he's at least stopped back in... If you're still lurking out there what's the word bud? You've got lots of people that respected your work feeling a loss.
