ARB Snorkel is Done!!!

Here's some install pictures:....Enjoy.....

DSC03356.jpg

It took me a few times to make sure that the temp plate was in the right spot.........Nothing like the feeling of drilling a 3 1/2" hole through the side of a $20,000 plus rig!!!!!

Made sure everything was sealed up good!

I like it!!!......More pictures to come tomorrow!

Overall......The install is not that bad......Instead of using that huge 5/8" drill bit......i used a 1/2" bit.......5/8" seemed alittle overkill!......ARB had great instructions that were easy to understand........and the outcome looks great......

How many fender flare clips did you break? :D

Did you find it necissary to remove the fender flare?

Looks great

I broke ALL of those clips!!!!!!........I tried to get around not taking off the fender.....but their was a few of those black plastic clips behind that would have made things harder to get at........I did manage to do the install without taking the radio antenna off....:jumping:

A little late I know, but you can manuever the plastic clips out and the inner fender without taking the fender flare off... Overall its likely less work?

Again, it looks great

Nice work Nic. :clapsmile

I think everything you've done to your truck is first class with a craftsman's eye for detail. Congrats on maintaining a steady hand while drilling.

I fully approve of this mod, for the safety, of your wonderful family. :REOutArchery02:

Love that last picture, it looks expedition ready in "Adventure Red"! Have you solved your compressor check valve problems? I like the box you made up that protects everything. Well done!

Cheers ,
