Sorry guys;
I actually have not seen the Tacoma Camper yet either, just the truck with the XPCamper sticker. The camper is at another location, I am hoping that I may get a sneak peak at it, while I am in Grass Valley.

Saw this rig today. Currently in Whistler BC camped about 3 minutes from my house.
That'll be me then! (Monday)

The Webasto Dual Top heater ran continuously for 15 weeks - we literally didn't ever turn it off from early Jan through till mid April. Amazing piece of kit. XP has done everything we asked of it - 1 month off road, and 5 months full time living below freezing. Good job Marc.

So XP has several models:

V1 - the original flatbed model that is currently in production
V2 - the prototype compact flatbed model (Tacoma) set to be revealed at ExPo 2013

V4 - the XP/Ujoint van model featured at SEMA 2012

It seems that there is space in the model lineup for a V3 model.

V3 XP SPY REPORT:
I have crawled around the V3 XPC mock-up with a measuring tape, and now have permission from Marc to pass along the following, preliminary, information:

The V3 will be very similar in overall length and width to the V1, but it is designed to slide into a long or short bed 1 ton Ford/Dodge/GM truck box. No flatbed required. Normally this would result in a dramatic reduction in storage space, but due to some unique design features, it will have almost as much storage space as the V1 flatbed. It will use a hard sided, tilt roof design, similar to the V2 (Tacoma) XPCamper design and will have all the same high end diesel appliances as the V1. The interior layout will be different from the V1 and V2 and the entry will be from the rear. The V3 will have a cassette toilet and shower combination similar to the V1.

If all goes well the first prototype should be unveiled in 2014.
Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
