And now she’s in for paint! Getting a fresh new coat after the minor rust repairs! At this point I should get full coverage at $10k value!

Last round of goodies for the xj. Wheel center caps, antenna replacement, rear light and a rocker switch for the rock lights which I hope will fit in the stock switch panel20210711_200418.jpg

Got her back she looks so so so good! Currently curing in the garage. She goes in for steering repairs and rear leaf upgrade Thursday. Got most of the exterior light overs replaced and I'm really liking the smoked out look. The rear top light didn't quite fit right so I need to modify the bezel to fit. Gotta paint the black ends of the bumpers and get some tints to complete the look for now. I've got some Jeep emblems on the way and a few LED bulbs to install in the lamps on the way. And a replacement radio antenna since the junk one Amazon sent didn't fit20210717_085944.jpg20210717_085955.jpg20210717_090002.jpg20210717_192054.jpg20210717_192059.jpg20210717_192114.jpg20210718_122724.jpg20210718_112752.jpg20210718_122315.jpg

Well phase 1 is complete!!

Ended up with more upgrades than I originally planned. Went in for rear leafs and steering repairs and came out with a whole lot more including new front springs! Can't wait to take it out somewhere fun!

Next up bumpers and rock sliders sometime over winter.

I did find some rust that was not addressed because it was hidden under the bumper ends but it's not in a visible spot so I hit it with RustOleum Rust Performer which I hope will keep it from getting worse till I can grind it all out over winter.Resized_20210723_145251.jpg20210725_113816.jpg20210725_135732.jpg20210725_135735.jpg20210725_143510.jpg20210726_070621.jpg20210727_175454.jpg20210727_175510.jpg

And the result is awesome imo! Rock lights turned out cool too. Gotta snap a pic of the button install in the dash

Also got the windows tinted 35% up front and 20% on the back. Loving the tactical look, can't wait to finish it off with the bumpers.
