It looks pretty tight, but should not ever make contact with the cab.

I also coated the undebody, but have more to do.

Added the spare tire ( 33) back to the stock mount, i just needed a new crank, and to re route the exhaust for it, so that was rebuilt by a shop here in town.

Friggin tapatalk- keeps deleting post when adding images.

The day before Christmas we headed up the mountains with a full crew cab of family to get a tree.

Due to me not having my traction boards with me, I got stuck. Buried her.

After airing down, and still not making much progress we pulled the sides off the flatbed and used them as traction boards. Worked, did manage to bungle one up. So replaced the broken boards today.

Was about to paint when we popped a working strUcture fire, now standing by at the station.

Turns out they fit behind the seat.

I was going to bolt them to the inside of the 1/2 racks, but they are 2 inches longer, and being blue really stick out.

When used and covered in grim I will just throw them in the back. IMG_20200104_0822537.jpg

Well it started snowing once I got the folding side on the passengers side, they are a little wider than I planned, although I did not have much of a plan and wanted to use 2X4, it's going to be sturdy though.

And will get the same black flex seal paint as the 1/2 racks and deck.

They fold down like tables on each side.

And will also be lockable, when done.

Should be able to finish them sometime this week, Wed maybe.

May be a bit, but need to get it all finished before next week. I'll spend a week in the Eagle Caps, working a dog sled race, the Eagle Cap Extreme, at Salt Creek Summit.

My FIL, retired large animal veterinarian, worked the Eagle Cap (and Iditarod) for several years. We took a horse pack trip up in the wilderness several years ago. Absolutely beautiful area. Good luck and have fun at the race!

Mighty Dodge Ram, I have also spent some time horseback that region, I would love to make it to the Idatarod some day to work medical... It will probably have to be volunteer though,

Buddha, Yeah its great. This body style chevy the crew cabs all fold flat- makes a pretty big bed. It has come in handy a few times, always keep a sleeping bag back there.
