Fish Creek, then a left turn into Sandstone Canyon, and back out. Mine is the 4runner in the group photo.

What he said :ylsmoke:

But yes, that is the area I most frequent in Anza, lots to explore. Always find something new. Beautiful.

Great looking 1st Gen !!!

I have to ask you about your roof basket and rack system. I picked up a used lightweight basket for cheap, pretty decent construction. I've been at odds with myself over getting a roofrack system to put it on... Yakima and Thule are really the only options... The only thing i don't like about the idea is how high it will be, so I was debating on holding out for a Prinsu design (he's says he's working on an option for 1st Gens)... I see yours though and it looks pretty damn good, the lights make it look great and appear not so high... How is it still holding up ? Do you have any negative input on your setup ?

Sorry for the delay, but as for the rack I have had no issues. Took the lights off because I could not stand the hood glare but other than that all is good. Don't use it as much as I expected.

I picked up an Extreme ARB dual air compressor, this has been on my list for some time. Will finally have on-board air! Time to stock up on air tools, air horns, air tanks. air lockers and beach floats :coffeedrink: and whatever else air is good for! Really bought it for the lockers however because I will be losing my elocker when I switch to the Ford 9" and I will be installing a front and rear ARB locker. Also will have 35"+ tires you need a serious compressor to keep those filled.

On another note I was recently having rough starts where then engine would run rough for about 30 seconds and then smooth out. Every so often I would get the P0303 code so I replaced all my coils, wires and plugs. Seems to have worked but I'll give it a few days. Also have new injectors on order should that be the problem.

I replaced my coils and plug wires a couple years ago just because they were factory. The plug wire resistance check was good but I figured they were 13 years old at the time and should be changed. I haven't replaced the injectors yet. Please post up when you do. Did you order factory injectors or aftermarket?

Will do, but may hold off if the issue is fixed. I purchased the injectors online and it stated "new "OEM" but then again its the internet so who knows what I'll get. Felt the same way about the age, truck is now 11 years old and with 150k I would not hurt to swap out parts that are long in the tooth with fresh ones. It's also nice to see shiny new parts in the engine bay, but I know they wont stay that way for long with the places I go :snorkel:

Slowly getting the basic system up and running, this is going to be awesome :wings: one of the main reasons I rarely air down is due to the time it takes to fill all the tires and having to dig out my compressor from the back of the truck along with it normally it ending up buried under all my other gear. Then having to deal with a scolding hot compressor is also a pain. But no more! Life should be improving soon, the time to start airing up and air up times should be way better. I'm excited....
