Personally, I use a Rubbermaid tote. I can fit the 1-Gal. size jugs in it standing up (anti-freeze/ATF/motor oil/qt.gear) and have room for spare belts/hoses/rags and other misc. field repair parts. Keeps all the messy stuff together should anything leak. Rubbermaid is more flexible and will...

As a rule of thumb, I never trust those to shut off. Ask how I know. I dont have the ARB type however but would think removing the valve or loosening it while on the trail might be an opportunity for mishap. I do carry extra valve stems and housings though just in case.

Really love the springs on them, smart move. Also prefer clamping rather than drilling. Do you that use these take them off when driving on city roads? Hate to see a freeway deer hit with them on! Messy.
