So anyway im riding home from work with the sound of sleigh bell fading into the distance and you wouldn't believe it but santa had left a load at my front door
Dirty fat B**stard

On a serious note
if Im capable of such a thing
been looking at tyres other than the KL71somthing with a more All Terrain look
not much choice here in OZ probably because not everyone drives an F650
Cooper does the ATR3 in 315 / 75 R 16 127R
sounds good and not bad price
only problem is I checked a tyre feedback forum and 43 out of 45 appraisals rated them as close enough to crap not to stand in
the other 2 didn't sound sure
Anybody had any experience with Coopers?
or can suggest an alternative
maybe I should just go the KL's and look as tough as Dan

Boom boom
my experience with cooper sts on a 3000kg hilux (yes I know) where not great. They seemed to chew out quickly and very floaty.

Are you after 35" tyres Stu? BF goodrich have a rugged terrain tyre which is a road style tread 285/75/16 (33") 126 load rating for $313

in southern WA the coopers will be fine
in northern WA the coopers will fail, they dont seem to like the hot roads and seperate
they score really well on the puncture chart (tough casings)
I was in Broome a few years back and needed a new tyre asked the bloke about coopers and he said dont waste your money
ended up with BFG all terrain (proberly not load rated for the canter)

SOD IT
its just all to difficult
Ill go with the KL71's
If Dan couldn't kill them taking his truck up the cape
and they're strong and manly enough to bee seen on a beige truck
so ill give it a go
anyway with the amount of miles ill be doing in the truck in the next couple of years they should last forever
