Thanks I'm trying , I hope to go sfa with a fj80 front e-locked axle and ditch the factory rear g80 locker for an eaton e-locker this year

For now the forward part of the bumper is just supported off the rest of the bumper but once I put longer leaf springs on I'll make a mount that supports the front more

Wonderful work! The thought and follow through of the custom fab work is top notch.
It works without being gaudy or heavy. The angles look smooth and flow well with the body panels.
This is going to turn out S.E.M.A quality! great job!

Lol what little free time I have had I have been trying to work on the truck but I'm going to get back on the trailer soon.

I still have the rtt I'm actualy going to put a roof rack on the camper shell so I can put it on the truck for some trips coming up next month but once I get the trailer done it will stay on the trailer most the time but till then I want to use it on the truck. I'm thinking I might make some temp bracing for the cap to help support the rtt but I'll see once I get it up there in the next week or so

Very cool build! I keep getting drawn to these little trucks but both chevrolet and GMC's web sites seam to have conflicting options in the build your own thing. It seams you can only get the V8 with the 4 door and leather seats but Im sure a guy should be able to order one from the dealer the way he wants. I would love an extended cab with the V8 and cloth seats. And finding what I want in used trucks seams even more difficult.

I'm not sure if you can get the extended cab in a v8 4x4 I know you can get the v8 in extended in the 3lt zq8 2wd , I know in 2011 it was an option to get cloth in the crew v8 4x4 but not sure why online it will not for the 2012, you should check out 355nation.net lots of good info for these trucks there

Sense I was sick today and could not go to work I found a few min that I was feeling better to go out and mount the cb and iPad mount but I did not wire the cb yet I'm still waiting for my new battery terminals to come in before I wire the cb,winch,and lights

Oh and mind the mess it's been a wile sense I cleaned the truck

If I can get someone to help me tonight I'll mount the rear bumper also
