So you're keeping it? Excellent!

Another one here who has been lucky enough to see this Tacoma in person. Really nice.

Cool tip on the LR jack.

Well, it looks like I might just buy one of those compressors too! Thanks for the info.

Sierra Expeditions does not have them for sale on the website. I had to special order it from them. I found a few sites that had this model for sale, but I like to buy from ExPo sponsors as much as possible. A quick email to SE and two weeks later I had it in my hand.

We just have to roll with the punches.

Try bobbing and weaving instead. ;)

Good to hear things are working out for you two. Looks like you've been getting out and seeing some unique historical spots. Hope the move & married life are treating you well.

e Hella 500s and new fog lights this week since the stock ones are too large.

Looks good! Question though: How/where are those front lines attached? Any issues arise with them there? Thanks

Well, that is phase....#2 of the build. We don't have the kayaks anymore as we felt it would just be easier to move across country without them. When we get kayaks again, I will just build a trailer instead.

That said, they are looped around the pivot point of the hood. Open up the hood, loop the straps around the bars and good to go. I never had any problems with them there.

Cool, I never thought of putting my strap there. Yeah I read where you decided to sell the 'yaks; that would have been an extremely hard decision for me to make.

It was, but we knew it would be sometime before we would be able to kayak again and my mpg went down to about 10mpg with them on top so it was just not worth it to drag them back across country.

Really sweet set-up. I like the direction you went.....All the stuff you need and nothing you don't. I also like the "blacked out" look.

Thanks man. I like to add stuff only when I start realizing it will be something that will actually benefit me. That said, I don't know what your definition of need is, but sometime by the end spring I will be adding a snorkel, maybe an electric fan with shut off, and a Rtt. After shunning snorkel's for sometime I am starting to see the light.

I've nixed the re-gearing idea though...for now. It's just not a priority at the moment unless I can find a good deal on installation and I pick up an ARB airlocker at the same time.

Here is a pic from the training session. The truck did FANTASTIC!
