Post some pics of the sliders and maybe everyone can give some suggestions as to how to mount them. Something tells me that with your fabrication/welding skills that it will be a piece of cake....:wings:

That`s a bit hard, since I start fabricating sliders when i`m sure how to mount them...

Wanted to check my winch/battery setup again today. I remembered the stump from our christmas tree in the backyard, so out with the winch...

Then i started pulling, but with no luck. I thought my brakes are not strong enought, then i saw this:

I called my buddy and we hooked our rigs together:

I just ordered an a/c cooler out of a audi to use as a transmission oil cooler:

Also canceled my 48" hilift order and ordered a 60" instead...

Freeze plug on the back of the block?

check the heater hose connections at the intake manifold, those have been known to rot and leak

The two that go through the firewall? Where do they connect to the intake manifold?

one should be on the passenger side near the front of the intake and the other I think is in the rear near the distributor.....or follow the hoses from the firewall

Rear near the distributor sounds worth a try. Could be possible...

Ok, I`ve built a few engines, but never one with a distributor. So I`m totally helpless with this thing. How can i take it out to reach under it? I think I change the timing when i take it out!? How to do this properly?

Lower intake manifold gaskets if it near the top on the back of the engine. Check out S-10CREWCAB.NET Forum for the instructions and specifications. You will also find the distributor removal and replacement instructions on that website. BE CAREFUL! That housing is plastic and know to be fragile. Read the warning on our website.

If it is wet on the starter or near the filter adapter on the sides of the engine block, it would be a freeze plug, or the engine block heater depending upon which side.

There are to hose connections at the firewall, but they are not know to be problematic. No heater hose connections at the back of the engine on these and no water jacket freeze plugs on the back of the block.
