1st trip with the new axle. Pulled 3.5 hours each way. No issues at all. Met a bunch of friends and spent a day driving around the Ozarks. Trailer stayed in camp.
Thought i had some rubbing but it ended up being a dust shield on the jeep hitting the brake rotor.

Threw this on...last month I have to admit. The evo tire carrier does not have an attachment for rotopax, and I didn't have time to fab. Rock Slide Engineering spare tire accessory mount. Only $149. I will say they treated me right. After messing up a shipment they confirmed would be there in...
I picked up a Cabelas branded one last year. $100. Works pretty good. Gets super hot. Had some points to use. Much better than my old wally world grill or my brothers coleman.
We do the same thing. Mileage is about a wash though IMO. I do have a new axle on the trailer and have lightened it quite a bit so haven't made a pull since that happened.
Nice setup. Keep us in the loop with your progress.
We have a 3.5" lifted JKU and it is a PITA to get everything set up...
We've run some pretty tippy stuff with the RTT. That said, I prefer without when possible. Pick a good line and be careful and know your limits and in most cases you'll be ok.
Thanks, It's not in bad shape, one side has a bit more rust than the other but it is all surface rust. I used rust neutralizer on the springs prior to painting just for added insurance. I took the hangers apart and cleaned all the old grease out of them, installed new grease zerks and tried to...
Pulled springs this weekend and cleaned and painted them. Axle bolted up(not pictured). Should get the rest done tomorrow...at least to make it a roller again.

Ok, the move is finally complete. We closed just under two weeks ago and are now in the new house, but yet to close on it. Hopefully next week. The owner is graciously letting us live there rent free till close(father in law's house). So have made a bit of progress. I mounted the harbor...
Dont have it for the JL yet but the Teraflex Nebo is very minimalistic, relatively aerodynamic and rated for 800 lbs static. Hardly know it is there when unloaded.
Need a hard top though. Sorry for the bike pic. only decent one of the rack on this PC
Good to know. Ive got a 3500lb dexter and all the mounting hardware laying on the garage floor waiting for me to put it all together. Worse comes to worse I could weld something up. Really haven't taken the time to size everything up.
My setup is similar to several above. can change out to any style I want. Was going to do up a 2" ball setup but honestly at this point I haven't felt the need to.
