    Fuse Block Questions.

The negative buss gives you a place to terminate the negative side of each circuit. Since the electrical path to the device includes both the positive side and the negative side, having a good ground via the negative buss, and using high capacity wire for it (as well as the hot side to the fuse...

    Advice on Insulating Layer...

Cabelas offers tall sizes, as do a few other manufacturers (Columbia, for one but the talls are hard to find). Beyond clothing actually custom-makes each piece to your measurements: http://beyondclothing.com/products/jackets/soft-shell/

Anyone have a Kodiak Dual Battery System on Their Yota?

Does the stated $800 seem incredibly high for two batteries, an isolator and some cables? I don't have that much in my 4-battery installation with a kusmaul relay isolator, as used on emergency response vehicles.....

    man vs. wild "deadman" repel

Of course he has! And so has his photo crew, and the helo crew ready to take him to the hotel at night..... Given the choice of trying to survive with 'bear' or Les Stroud, I know who I'd pick.

    1981 Mercedes 300D - Immaculate

I really like the 123 and 116 chassis MBZ's....I used to have an '82 123, and except for the cruise control (which never worked for more than a couple of days, even after replacing the module) it was a great car. Comfortable, economical (26 mpg at 80 mph with the AC going in the So Cal summer...

What is best tent for 30 people in snow and rain?

We sure did! These young kids....back in my day, it was plastic tube tents (which, if careful attention to where you are setting up isn't given, will channel water right into your sleeping bag) and svea stoves... Still have the stove.

What is best tent for 30 people in snow and rain?

Small, 2 or 4 person tents for the scouts to sleep in. If you really NEED a big tent (why?) I'd go with the vinyl over Canvas, the canvas has to be swept (both sides) to get the crap off it before it's stored. It also has to be dry. The vinyl? Roll and go.
