    Its Timing Belt...time!

Roger, That does seem very high. Double check what they're charging you for parts. Cheapest Mitsu dealer for parts that I've found is Southwest Mitsubishi. The last few I've had done on my 2001 and 1994 were done by independent mechanics. I don't think Mitsubishi engines are that much...

    Snow Peak Addiction

The grate isn't completely above the holes, but it's about in line with them. Enough air does get below the coals, because with the lid off the coals burn completely until all that is left is ash. Before, the coals would choke themselves out. Look at how SP drilled smaller and larger holes in...

    Leveling your trailer

Blocks. and if I'm disconnecting, I also use their chocks that integrate with their blocks for a solid wheel chock. Those blocks are also good for keeping a tongue jack from sinking in the sand.

Tight space storage ideas- with pics!

For starters, I'd recommend the following: 1) make arrangements to carry more than a single gallon of water. 2) Lose the bungee cords for securing anything of any appreciable weight.

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

For a really compact setup, have you considered the Powerfilm foldable panels like these at AT? They're very rugged and provide a lot of power for their tiny footprint.

Sold - 2006 Kimberley Kamper trailer

I'm not sure how to handle this, Brad. I cannot believe you're selling this setup. ;)

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

I couldn't agree with Luis more on this. This is the way to go for your scenario.

    Air Shocks for pulling trailer

Roger, have you thought about adding firestone or airlift airbags onto the leaf springs? They allow you to adjust for the load you're carrying.

    Oil for the masses...

You can buy it in gallons on Jegs or Summit Racing. I've been buying Redline gear oil from Jegs that way for years.

    Partner Stoves?

Both of these stoves are made by the same manufacturer. AT sells the 18" model. Unless you're using smaller 1 or 2 liter pots, the 18" is the one to get...you won't regret it and it will last you a lifetime.

    Snow Peak Addiction

The problem with the single BBQ box (I don't have experience with the double BBQ box) is that the fire pan doesn't really allow for air circulating under the coals. The coals choke themselves in their own ashes. I've heard of people having good luck drilling holes in the fire pan to allow air...

    Digital Reader (e-Book) dilema

Best Kindle cover I've seen yet. It appears that it's for the latest version of the Kindle though.

    H3 Alpha

Bill, Have you considered the previous generation 4-Runner with the v8, like James Langan (Redline) has? That's got a bit more cargo room than you have now and more power for towing. I've considered this a lot too as I get tired of the lack of power for towing with my v6 too.

    H3 Alpha

Brian, is this a typo? ARB's old H3 had stock suspension? Was that before they made OME suspension components for it?

    Pissed off at MM NA!

Interesting. Sorry about your situation. If it makes you feel any better, I paid about that same price to the dealer in Las Cruces, NM when I was on a trip. Mine still throws the code at least 10 times per trip. I think mine is linked to towing as it never happens when I don't tow and...

    Updated my In Car PC

No, I just want to be able to read the maps during the middle of the day when it's really bright out, or when the sun is lower and has a more direct angle into the vehicle. The tablet I'm using now is unreadable in bright daylight. The sunlight readable screens I've seen on carpc.com are...
