Bringing Sexy Back. AKA 93' LWB RRC

I don't know, I got pretty good mileage. I only know because when it was stock with a 4.2L V8 and now lift, I would use a half a tank of fuel to Salt Lake and back to my house. ~60+- Miles. With the 6.2 I only use 1/4 of a tank now. I calculated the 4.2 and was averaging about 9 MPG. I...

    LR3 ABS Issue

My buddies would do this when were were driving up the Canyons in Utah too fast. It was funny. Never caused any permanent issues though.

The Rolling Restoration & Customization Of My 88' Range Rover Classic

For a good damper swap to a fluid-damper. Its the best way to fix that issue on a 6.2 or 6.5L. I haven't done it yet. Mainly because I got rid of the 6.2 for a 6.5 Center-mounted Turbo. The new engine is in much better shape so far. But maybe in the next year I'll add the fluid-damper to it...

The Rolling Restoration & Customization Of My 88' Range Rover Classic

Whats the purpose of going with the 6 speed? I don't think you are going to see any benefit. I had the 6.2 with a 700R4 and the stock gearing. I was constantly getting 20-25 mpg. I don't think you'll do any better, its still a big brick you are trying to move through the air. I understand...

Radiator support and wiring is all done. Next up air intake, using a Donaldson air filter assembly. Running out of room pretty quickly under the hood. I'm going to have to do some trickery here.

    Santana/Defender 110 Overland Build Cummins R2.8

Looking good. Do you think it would have been easier to just import a Defender body and frame and then put it together in the states? I've been thing of thinking about going that route. Import the frame first. Then the drivetrain and the frame.

New 4 core aluminum radiator is now installed. mounts. Had to redo some sheet metal. But not too bad of a fit for a much larger radiator than stock. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

The list is getting smaller. The oil cooler and power steering cooler are now done and mounted. I purchased a four core aluminum radiator. That should be here in a week. Updated photos. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Range Rover Diesel Conversion Take 2

I think I found a 4 core 6.2 L GM all aluminum radiator with a fan shroud and dual fans I'm going to purchase. It fits. I currently have the same radiator but it's only 3 core. I can't run a mechanical fan unfortunately. Not enough room. I'm also running a separate oil cooler with -10 hose...

I don't really care about AC. I don't want to even mess with it. I like the simplistic engine compartment, I hate clutter, so it'll probably never get AC

Range Rover Diesel Conversion Take 2

I got it to run, but its idling way to high. So either I screwed something up rebuilding the pump, or I need to set the fuel better. But it sounds better than the 6.2 I had in it I also somehow mirrored the video on my phone. So I now have a right hand drive.

Range Rover Diesel Conversion Take 2

I may change springs later on. Right now I have a 2" spacer lift and HD OME springs. They seem to be holding it up just fine. I'll probably truss the front axle though. Its a little more weight than standard, I don't need a bent axle. Or I may go with Dana 60's front and rear. Time will...

Fired it up today. Wow, its a lot quieter than the old engine. Video coming soon. Need to adjust the idle, its way to high. Doesn't smoke, just needs to given 10 seconds of glow plugs. The old engine needed starting fluid almost all the time. But I think the rebuilt injection pump really...
