Got the head off, took a couple hours. Its one reason I like this engine. super simple to work on. No special tools, no special anything. Gonna get the otherside off monday and take the heads down to get shaved, flattened, whatever.

This is the 1989 200 TDi we bought as well. We are going to repaint some of it and give it a nice once over, wolf wheels, larger tires and a lift. Has a rebuilt ascroft transmission in it. Salisbury rear axle.

It was in the window. I took it off before it went on the boat. When its in the port, it doesn't need it anymore. The other one we bought still has both of its number plates attached. Once it gets over here they will probably be removed.
