    Liquid Spring

I know that switch that is very common in ambulances wouldn't be part of the system we get. It would also be brand new. That said, it will probably cost as much as the whole freakin' use ambulance! :ROFLMAO:

I was under the impression that they were pretty reliable in ambulances. I'd love to hear more about your experience. All the advantages go away if it's down any significant amount of time.

    Liquid Spring

The setup Carli did for TFL Truck is already tuned for what I need. It includes a Deaver pack too, and at that price, some chichis I wouldn’t really need, new radius arms for example, so it could be cheaper. I’ll look into Thuren and like the idea of you installing it in my driveway (which I...

    Liquid Spring

Kelderman is $4500 for the rear only. Although it’s a 4 bar link, that’s where the similarities end. They‘re just air bags. For that money ($6-7k), I’d probably do a Carli with a Deaver spring pack and leave a few chi-chi’s out. Since the camper will stay on full time, I probably wouldn’t want...

    Liquid Spring

I know they're pretty spendy. The final price for the smaller trucks is TBA. An article in one of the RV mags last year said they run $10-14,000. The RV setup would be bigger than the 1-ton setup. I'm wild guessing under $15K. A full Carli Pintop setup is about $12K installed. What the Liquid...

    Liquid Spring

Has anyone had any experience with this system? They are going to make a setup for 1-tons like the F350. It is complex because of the electronics, but they have systems in a bazillion ambulances and busses and seem to have a good track record. It would only be a bit more than a full Carli, but...

No doubt that it has positives. Like all things, it's a matter of whether the positives outweigh the negatives or not. Cleaning trumps noise reduction in my book. Others may disagree.

Now, one more potential switcharoo. Has anyone seen the Liquid Spring Suspension? They are going to offer a F350 srw model early next year. It's spendy, but has some REALLY cool features. It autolevels, so the conflict of bags versus XHD springs is gone. Plus, it levels when parked. :oops...

After owning an Element, I wondered why ANY car has carpet. I jumped at the chance to delete it.

Well, I pulled the ole' switch-a-roo. I thought I needed an 8ft. bed, but the camper and bed manufacturers met at Overland Expo and determined that I can get away with a 6.75' bed. That'll save me 16" on wheelbase! Woot!!!

Cabinets in a FWC Raven Shell

That looks great! I ended up keeping the marine board counter, putting an edge trim on it and repurposing the curtain system from the back window to go in front of the sink drain/trach can.

I was conflicted on leather. I really like the baja and the B&O system. Since I'm pulling the bed though, and losing a lot of the things included in the Lariat and above, I decided the $3K was better spent on the integrated winch in an XLT.

Pulled the trigger yesterday. F350 Super Cab, 8' bed. 7.3/4.30. Console and heated seats. Carpet delete. FX4 and Camper package, in case I can't get a Carli installed right out of the gate, plus I get the stickers. Warn winch. Dual batteries and upgraded alternator. Upfitter switches. Plus, some...

2022. 7.3/4.30. Debating suspension mods as we speak. Cat's meow is the Carli Pintop, but fully spec'd with proper wheels, it'd add $10k to the build.

2005 Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9 Manual with Hallmark Guanella 8'

That's a nice setup. We're in the process of ordering a new K2 as we speak (Guanella with a Cassette toilet), because we want something bigger. You'll probably get more bites if you post interior pics of the truck. Good luck!

Don't worry about the hijack. After starting this thread, we decided we really needed more capacity and space. We're ordering a F350 gasser. :D

LOVE IT! We're building a new rig, BTW, not Toyota based...F350, 7.3 gasser with a bigger camper.

    Suspension Modifications F350

The camper we're looking at is spec'd at 1262 lbs, but Truck Camper Magazine estimates it would be 2194 lbs without occupants (dry weight, 1,262 pounds + 30 gallons fresh, 250.2 pounds + 3 gallon full hot water heater, 25 pounds + 30-pound full propane tank, 27 pounds + 2 batteries, 130 pounds +...
