I didn’t consider the smaller motor. It’ll hold a flatbed and Hallmark K2 full time. I figured the mileage would be similar, and opted for more power.

Mine is a 7.3 gasser. If I swap it out though, might as well go a little bigger.

yea, I think if I were to abandon the current setup, I’d upsize the winch too.

I have to get specs from Ford, but I think they had to make the mounting plate smaller and thus the bolt pattern different to get it to fit. I know it’s not a commercially available product.

That's my problem. I ordered a factory winch and it's too late to cancel it. It's integrated into the factory bumper. Not sure what my options are at this point.

Unfortunately, the thing that makes Ranch Hand attractive, a second mount point, makes it incompatible with the factory winch. They use the same holes.

Is it a full bumper and guard, or just a guard?
