Looking to absorb some of the Jeep wisdom here

If you can, try to find a 12 or newer Sport with 3.73s and a limited slip in the rear. For what you want to do, the 14 and newer Willys edition sounds to be right up your alley. Having a 13 JKUS that I bough as a clean slate and have set up my way, I would recommend that you look for a used...

Thanks! I tell you, giving that trailer back to Off the Grid Rentals on Tuesday was the saddest thing I've done all year!

tire weight with 321 gear ratio?

Yeah, a grand. https://www.offroadevolution.com/services/regearing/ Get out more. Oh, and that Jeep looks perfectly fine, capable, and proportional running 33"s! Mine is on 33"s too.

tire weight with 321 gear ratio?

You are being bent the ****** over. https://www.offroadevolution.com/services/regearing/ At what you are being quoted you could drive here, do it, and drive back. I'd recommend shopping harder. Check with these guys, they aren't that far away. http://mitchelldifferential.com/services-2/

tire weight with 321 gear ratio?

I have a '13 JKUS myself, rolling 33" tires, a 2.5" lift, and I am going to re-gear to 4.56 before moving one size to 34" tires. My advice, spend a grand and re-gear first.

Love Being In The Dog House (trailer)

I had a nice chat with Randy at Lead Dog Motorsports yesterday. Your thread has given me some ideas and between your build, our experience with a SoCal Teardrop, and Randy's input I think we might be able work something out.........

Love Being In The Dog House (trailer)

I've been toying with the idea of picking on of these up after seeing one at the Off Road Expo a few months back. I just messaged Hiker Trailer in Denver asking a few questions about how I'd want one set up. I want a water tank, to substitute door windows and omit the large side windows, and...

    Bottle Jack

I'm a fan of the Humvee scissor jacks for two reasons. One, you can get them collapsed to about 3.4"-4", which when you have a bottomed out rig, axle, whatever, can get underneath and get some lift going, a 10-14" high bottle jack can't do that, nor can a 48" Hi-Lift; each has their...

Making a JKU fun in the Highway (speed) parts of an Expedition?

Have you reflashed to account for the 33" tires? Do you have a Procal or a Flashpaq? If you have not reprogrammed your shift points, this is probably 80% of your problem. Having a similarly equipped Jeep I am not having the problems you are having, even when I am in CO or UT. I have noticed...

Need help looking for a good spot for hard mount air compressor.

OP, you might want to edit your post a bit. I have the ARB Twin, mounted under the hood next to my sPod system, right in front of the brake booster. Great location, out of the way, easy enough to access. I'm using the ARB manifold for now, I may put a small ARB tank behind the front bumper...

Modding a Wrangler to Match Land Cruiser Reliability?

The legal requirement for a manufacturer would fall in that "seven" year window, required for the maintaining an inventory of spare parts, anything outside of that falls into the pure dumb luck category. Not sure who's *** that "25 years" came out of but it is pure BS. No manufacturer of...
