Modding a Wrangler to Match Land Cruiser Reliability?

UN Specs? The UN doesn't seem to have an issue with JK's.

Modding a Wrangler to Match Land Cruiser Reliability?

The transfer case shift linkage has two sacrificial plastic bushings. From what I understand, they're meant to fail in order to prevent forcing a "bad selection" and damaging the transfer case. They're about $2.00 bucks a piece and easy enough to change. I keep a couple in my trail bag. As...

New Off Road Teardrop trailer....my home away from home!

I really like how they did the fenders; near full-length nerf bars in function. How deep is the rear cabinetry? What did it end up leaving you in terms of floor dimensions?

When Mitsubishi abandoned you, you purchased......................

In greater L.A., from Glendale to Huntington Beach there are 5 Mitsubishi car dealers, all within driving distance of Mitsubishi North America's HQ. By contrast, there are three Ferrari dealers covering the same geographic area. Perhaps Mitsubishi should move upmarket and capitalize on their...

I really wished I could buy gullwings waith a box to my JK unlimited

The distance from the rollbar to the window inside the hardtop does't leave much space for this kind of contraption. The Land Rover does not have a rollbar near its rear window, hence unlimited space for spacious exterior accessible cupboards.

When Mitsubishi abandoned you, you purchased......................

I had a Gen I Montero, and a Mighty Max pickup. Bought both in 1989. Came back to the States in 1994 to find that the Gen II two-door that I'd been ogling in Argentina was not, and would never be available in the States. thanks Mitsu (and the chicken tax), went on to own a couple more...

7" past the open tailgate? I hope that camper has it's own brake lights. I'd also be concerned about your weight distribution.

34"(ish) A/T tire recommendation for Super Duty DRW application (?)

Damn, those rims are narrow. Have you considered dropping the diameter a bit? LT255/75R17's are just so darn plentiful, and cheap. You might be able to score ten near new Rubicon take-off's for under $900.00.

    Who makes these wheels?

Jeep has shown various different models, like the recent Africa version at Jeep Safari 2015 every year with white or beige steel wheels. I like it, it is a nice clean look. I especially liked the red pickup variant a couple of years ago with the old school Jeep chrome center caps. Those 17"...
