    Brewing Camp Coffee...

I have three different presses and don't have this issue either. The screen (filter) that presses the grounds down should allow air back through when you pull up on it. So, that can't be the problem. I'm wondering if the lid to has a gasket or seal on it. If that's the case, then when the...

Four Wheel Camper - A Review

KC, Thanks for the write-up and exellent photographs. It sure looked like an outstanding trip...except for the time spent in Vegas :) I know most of us shoot digital now, but I can't believe no one has commented on the perfect irony of this photo:

Martyn, Thank you again for this clinic. This was excellent, hands-on training. I really appreciated the effort both you and Paul put into teaching us these skills. TD

2nd Generation LED Work Lights / Reverse lights

My $.02: The housing on these lights are stout; they're cast aluminum. The light is very bright, especially considering how little power they require. They're about twice as bright as the 1st gen lights offered. The pattern is wide enough to fill out the area around the trailer, yet...

A little love for 2002-2006 Montero

Thank you for the compliment. I'm actually delinquent in getting the latest modifications added to my thread. :snorkel: :box: Try this link...it explains photo uploading better than I can. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2376 This is for hosting you pictures...

A little love for 2002-2006 Montero

Roger, You have to post some pictures and start your own truck modification thread. I can't wait to see this one. This is probably on of the best year models of any Montero. I really miss my '94, but the later gen II trucks really had everything sorted out. Did Mitsu offer the rear air...

A little love for 2002-2006 Montero

I've never heard that, and I've never experienced that. I currently insure a 2005 Volvo S80, a 2003 Honda S2000, and my '01 Monty. All have the same coverage through State Farm and I pay less than $100/mo for each vehicle. The Monty is about the same as the other two.

A little love for 2002-2006 Montero

I'm still partial to the 2nd gen model as well. I still miss my '94. My '94 had some oil leaking from the rear side of the valve cover gaskets. Replaced those and had no trouble otherwise for 135K miles. My '01 has 73K on it and hasn't leaked a bit.

A little love for 2002-2006 Montero

The redesigned package, AKA, "Generation III" model, was actually released in parts of the world in 2000 and in 2001 in the US. Slight modifications in 2003 with the addition of traction control. Too bad they never brought the OEM air-locking rear differential to the US. :smilies27 These...

ExPo Trophy Extended Overland Route Thru Joshua Tree

Yes, the Scangauge II has paid for itself many times over. It was still strange driving it with the OEM temp guage pegged at "H"; however, it was just psychological at that point. I was really glad to have the real information provided by the Scanguage to help put my mind at ease. The engine...

    2008 Trophy Happy Hour Recipies:

Gary, these were great. BTW, it's tough, for me anyway, to use too much garlic and basil. I'm not even sure I understand the concept of too much garlic. :) Thanks for sharing. Oh, and the drink you guys made was outstanding. A good, sharp knife should be in everyone's kit. Just as important...

    camp stove for 4

You can get the cook partner stoves through Adventure Trailers. The cook partner stoves will run you more than $99, but they're lighter and more compact. Plus, they're almost indestructible. In addition, the one with the windscreen will be nice when cooking in the wind.
