I will have to give you that one and yes it is towed by a Taco most of the time ---- so often that I bought the truck!!!. Love my Jeep but no A/C, 460 @ 8mpg on premium, and 103 degrees in TX! Old age is giving out to comfort.

1966 Johnson Furnace M416 build - The Odyssey...or Homer for short.

It has come a long way in a short time. You are really going to like the extra room the trailer gives. New house needs more garage space for work and trailer storage!!!

I am curious to see the lid and the supports. I have seen several made out of aluminum and they seem to work great. Are you putting angle iron over the round tubing (I may have missed it in your photos) or how is the seal designed? You are almost ready for camping. I am 2 years on the tub...

Very Nice on the lid. I saw one of their lids at Overland Expo and was impressed with the quality. Your set up looks near perfect. (If there were a Jeep towing it then it would be perfect)!!!

Very Nice!!! I like the idea of reversing tailgate and using the "built-in" handle? How much do you think it will weigh? More pictures please!

M416 built to go with my JKUR

Been offline for a few months so I missed all of the fun. The trailer is looking great. I too like the tailgate. Wiring looks really clean--well done. Better hurry summer is almost over in NY isn't it??? It ends sometime in December here. Post lots of pictures and don't forget the Harbor...

Scrambler84s 1966 M416 trailer, towed by Big Red

I remember those days well. Lots of busted knuckles and old grease on my clothes but lots of fun as well. What size tire are you trying to get under it? I did a springover and BFG 33 fits (barely) but sticks out a ways.

    My M416 Overhaul

Keep up the great work and keep sending the pictures. It will sure beat trying to pack everything in the back of the Taco.
