Also be aware that the LR3 Nav takes degrees, minutes (and seconds?) While some online maps (such as Google) just display degrees with a decimal (i.e. 32.4563N). The decimal portion will need to be converted to minutes by multiplying by 60.

I *believe*, based on pictures, the HD and non-HD housings and center carriers are different. To replace a rear diff on an HD truck you would need to source a non-HD rear diff as a core for the ARB to go into. at least that's how the units look from pictures..... As far as the electronics go...

Subarus XV Crosstrek looks intriguing. Small and economical enough for a daily driver. Enough options to keep it from feeling like an econobox. Able to fit some gear in the hatch. And, capable of running down dirt/fire roads like a rally car.

I have seen a write-up somewhere of how the module (transmission?) that is installed in from of the master cylinder/ABS unit was moved into the fender area. Then the owner was able to install the second battery just like it was an LR3.
