I have FJ Cruiser steelies on m '92 (SR rear locker) They DO NOT FIT stock and will require modification to the center bore (I did) as they are 106mm stock.
I agree with J&M. At least check the manufactures web site for measurement specs. Different manufactures, and/or models measurements can be significantly different for the "same" size tire.
I replaced the stock speakers with these: Kenwood KFC-1365S 2-Way 5-1/4" Flush Mount Car Stereo Speakers in my '92 and these in the '93 Pioneer - 5-1/4" 2-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones Model: TS-G1344R. Both fit fine. They are cheap speakers.
I pealed off all the old interior door...
I did mine in the '93 this past weekend. Door panels come off easy. You might want to think about replacing speakers at the same time. My foam was shot, so replaced with some pioneers. Lube up the rubber window guides with a liberal application of silicon spray and the center cable...
These should all be able to be cleared with the OBD II reader. If cleared do they all come back? Top 3 are o2 sensor related I believe - there are 3 sensors.
Not sure I know the hose configuration on the SR, but does it use banjo bolts to hole the oil cooler lines on? and if it does, were the copper washers replaced with new ones?
Caliper and scribe, marked 1mm on each of the 6 offset tabs on the backside, then very carefully used my 4" (102mm) angle grinder and followed the scribe lines. Took about an hour to do all 5. Test fitted each on the rear. Take it slow and easy with good lighting.
FJ steelies remounted with the Falken wild peaks and installed on the '92. Amazing how different tires preform on different chassis. Pretty darned quiet on the Gen 2.
I'll probably table this discussion until fall. Today I did a Craigslist search for the FJ Steelies and came upon a set of 5 containing Bridgestone Dueler H/Ts 265/70R17. 4 at about 80% tread left and 1 brand new along with the FJ rear tire cover. Got these for the price I was expecting to...
I currently have Falken Wild Peak LT265/70R17-121 on my gen 3 - great traction tires, but relatively hate them because of the noise generated on the Gen 3 chassis. Bought them new and have put about 35K miles on them over 29 months.
So - biggest issues for me are - we get snow and ice - this...
Anybody have experience with LT265/70/17 BFG All-Terrain T/A KOs on the Gen 3 chassis? What load range are people running C? or E? The Wild Peaks I have now are E.
