I'm not using the standalone hole in the middle of the track for my rails so I'm going to run the wires through that hole and seal it with some RTV silicone. I'm not sure on how I want to accomplish the ground yet though. My whole plan is for the basket to be a "quick disconnect" type of...

I've got a little update guys: The basket is done. I started with 2 coats of Rustoleum auto primer and then threw on 3 coats of Rustoleum black hammered paint. It turned out pretty well I think. There's 4 driving lights on the front and 2 driving lights on the rear. What do you guys think?

Thanks! I'm not exactly sure what the weight it but if I had to guess I'd say 40-50lbs. Not too terrible for being constructed completely out of steel.

I'm running these right now and they have been awesome! I've had them for about 5000 miles and I have zero complaints. They perform really well offroad too.

I'm using a MIG welder (230V, 180A I think). It's actually pretty easy to weld. This is my first welding project and I've been able to do well on it. I'm leaving the galvanizing on. Word of caution though, use some sort of gaseous respirator. The zinc from the galvanizing will mess you up. I...
