    Samurai as Daily Driver?

I know what you're saying. Walmart? We didn't have Walmart up here back then. I would more likely be headed to college or the local adult beverage vendor.

    Samurai as Daily Driver?

Heck, one of my samurais had a bad starter and I could push start it myself on flat ground. I doubt I could do the same with our Wrangler.

    Samurai as Daily Driver?

I've owned and daily driven 3 Samurais over the years and driven almost 500,00 km in them combined. They're slow, cold and noisy. They don't get stuck very easily. They don't burn much fuel. Having said that, I'd own another if it weren't for the challenge of finding parts locally.

Need Snorkle that works with WildBoar Rack

I've seen drawings for the new Rugged Ridge snorkle system. Looks interesting as a concept but it's supposed to be summer before it sees the light of day.

    Fording depth for a Tacoma

We've had our 01 Prerunner up to the top of the front bumper. The crossing was on a well established trail with a cobble bottom. Slow and steady wins the race when you're fording.

    Full-Size Pickup Bed Trailer

Years ago I contemplated building a rig similar to the above. We had a Ramcharger and I was in the process of hunting down a Dodge short box but job and location changes threw a wrench in the works. I would have used a short box and built my own frame though.

05 Focus with 94 Toyota pickup running gear

I would drive that. It looks like a fairly well done project. I do have a soft spot for well done conversions like that. I saw an early 80s Cadillac Sedan on a truck chassis that looked totally proportional with reasonable size tires. Maybe it's just my inner redneck.

Its our turn for the Pan-Am

Well gentlemen, Winter has arrived in Southern Alberta and the Western portion of Southern B.C. This means road conditions ranging from clear and dry to snow covering ice. Overnight lows in Southern Alberta this week are -10 to -20 celcius. Things will probably improve by the time you get down...

"well cared for " "not off roaded" This ad should also include " amazing fuel economy" I love when the seller includes information that is false/irrelevant.

Considering making an expo trailer from a grand cherokee

Now that tips the cool-o-meter past the red! One could keep the lift gates and fab up tent style ends for sleeping.

A Trip To Nowhere and Everywhere

Good to note the antler collecting. In most parts of Canada and especially in National and Provincial parks, it is unlawfull to remove animal remains. It is unlawfull to pick flowers and even remove stones in our National parks. They do take the old "pictures and footprints" axiom very seriously.

    Offroad Teardrop+ concept

That's an awesome trailer. I do prefer flat top fenders. You may be able to balance your first frosty beverage on a round fender but......

    Triple-purpose JK Build

You'll be ok with 4.10 and 33" tires. If I'm not mistaken, that would put your actual ratio near the 3.7 that comes with the factory tow package on non-Rubicons.

Towing a camper with a SWB jeep.

I know there are lots of experts around here but I'll share my experiences. I used to own a Samurai (3 over the years actually). It was rated at 1k lbs if I remember. A small utility trailer with a total weight of 500lbs was lots when it came to real world handling. My Tacoma will pull...

If I'm not mistaken, those wheels are the steel spares that are used on GCs.
