    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Truth man; I was coming down from Tahoe Ridge and passed a camping spot full of lifted rigs that must have came in during the morning or sometime after me cuz I didn't see them on the way up and they were only about 1k altitude below me. Shortly after I passed them I had a narrow road excursion...

    New Defender News

Can't fault @T-Willy on the individual thought process and I agree with @ChasingOurTrunks that there is no true metrics to what and who and why someone hits a service call so I feel much of our data is skewed no matter what OEM we buy from. On that note, JLR does have a reputation but I have...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Another video of the Defender being used in the "exception" category for what its sole design was "not" designed for and doing pretty damn good. Remember it's bone stock with factory configured tires; not lifted or anything outside of its design and still being compared to a Jeep on...

    New Defender News

Good to see a lot happened since I was gone this weekend on a bit of a California and tad of Nevada crawl. @JackW great to see your beautiful P300 and maybe you can answer some further questions on the driveline when you take it in the garage and get underneath to oooohhhhhh and ahhhhhhhh at...

    Propane Storage

I keep my portable explosives on the back where they belong and only take it when needed; my little greenies are in the Trasharoo "if" needed.

An introduction to my new LR3

Man, wish I could make that trip with you guys; all these "peaceful" riots, I mean protests, have me working crazy hours all over the place support LE, EMS, and Fire aero-systems.

Looks great; thought you were selling?

    New Defender News

Not big on rods but that is the first start and I'm all about "innovation" and aftermarket already hitting the D110 line. Great Job Lucky8!

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Grew up on a farm, 25 years military around the globe, engineer in Aerospace, predominately in EMS, LE, and Fire back country helicopters industry; pretty sure I have "innovation, expansive mind, and confidence in my ability. What was that part about open mind you keep coming back to about how...

Neighbors Rubicon on recall number 2 already and 2 service trips for major driveline issues. Keeps saying innovate, has no clue what it really means, then agrees when someone tells him what innovate means and then says something that means nothing related to innovate. LR puts limp mode to...

Sounds like you need a better vehicle; maybe a new Defender P400 is in your future!

    Interesting Portable Chain Saw

hand saw of some sort should be in every survival kit IMO. Chain saw blades with car ring attachments work great just like the one you have posted above. You can buy one long blade, knock out two links and make two survival kits saws with one blade and 4 keyring.

Agreed all around; I rarely have more than one or two Rovers when I go out and most times alone or with a mutt-group which I like more to be honest. We all have our banter and you really get first hand knowledge of the people and their vehicles because we can't hid our strengths and weaknesses...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Sorry guys, I tried to get a fair comparison in great trail fun with @EricTyrrell and @JeepColorado but they do not want to take me up on the offer. The offer was for a week or so of great trail fun and experience and good comrade building and a true vehicle comparison but neither want to take...

My point exactly on line selection; had he stuck to the original line (where he went last) and maintained the momentum, he would have crawled up without issue. Tire pressures are still entirely too high for those conditions for any vehicle but shows an example of how Super Extended Mode can...

    2008 Land Rover LR3 on 35"s - Refurbish/Rebuild Thread

May as well check your carrier bearings too. I plan to do mine when I rip the suspension apart again. I can feel and hear the vibes at 40mph or so and I slowly do the NASCAR tire warming technique. Could be diff whine too, but I am attempting to isolate so I can have the parts on hand when I...
