I don't understand what you are asking. Are you saying you can spin the the top nut or the actual top of the shock absorber? When you got the kit, did you get the springs already assembled or did you dis assemble yours then transfer the parts over?

In all reality you should replace your cable every 5 years. 7 at most. Obviously depending on usage.

Even with just the shell my md leafs feel fine. The whole suspension just feels more composed.

Also the ome hd leafs are rated to 800 lbs extra.

I have never run I to an issue where wheel travel was an issue. I do a lot of trail riding and some decent trails in it and really travel is only beneficial if you're maching off road. I have not had any sagging what so ever and ride is greatly increased.

It really depends what your end goal is. Adjustability is really only worth it if you take the time adjust it, and I equate it to my downhill bike or really any adjustable suspension. Unless you really know what your doing when it comes to adjusting suspension your really just paying for...
