Well realistically when was the last time effed a km2 to the point of not being able to come home? You'll have a spare. Doesn't seem worth the added cost of rims at the expense of decreased off road performance. You're gonna want a load e.
You were the inspiration for making those mounts!!! and they have been amazing. The only thing that I really dont like about leaving my trax on all the time, is the potential of breakdown due to being in the sun all the time, but where I live, I am in the mountains all the time so it just makes...
It is a whole host of items, from strength of the frame, to the brake perfomance to ride quality and what. You can increase those numbers with careful mods, but there is a point when it is to much weight for the truck it self. There should be a good explination of it in your owners manual...
Haha believe me I was once a speed demon did 174 in my speed three with the speed limiter off but now a days found 80 in a truck loaded with camping gear is just killing your mpgs and wearing down parts.
But then again I can't argue with wanting more horse power, I am a man after all.
Not really a mod persay, but the best thing I did, paid off the truck!!!! Standby for my rear storage and chuck box install. I also replaced the TRED's with brandy new maxtrax, standby for pics
That thing is looking PRIMO!! Every truck/car I have ever gotten has been grey, yet I always have wanted a white vehicle, 'cause they just look soo clean and fresh. Looks nice, brings me back to when I made the jump....
Truth on the above comment 100%. The Chinese do the same thing at farm equipment shows. Kubuta always has last years john Deere. I should have listened to my own advice, do it right the first time, because now for a set of maxtrax sits going to effectively cost me 900 bucks. That being said...
I would really love the Gerry can mounts. I pull a trailer often so any weight aft of the axel counts as tongue weight. But a swing out would be rad. I would be surprised if they quoted you less than 3grand.
Might as well of been. In the middle of a narrow 20 mile long trail in the olympic mountains we one end of the trail was impassible due to logging activity. But yes. I am getting maxtrax.
