If you don't mind letting the Pentastar V6 rev, and are ok with travelling less than 65mph up tough grades at elevation, it will take your 7000 lb trailer up the toughest climbs.
I think that is an example of Jeep responding to how many buyers use their "luxury trim" Jeeps.
It's actually a trend I've seen on full size pickups too. Take the GM Silverado and Sierra for example. The Z71 "off road" package used to come with a Bridgestone Dueller A/T, just like the JK...
ZR2 has great flexibility with regards to engaging the lockers. There are indeed two switches, and you can even lock the rear in 2WD.

I read the whole article. It's interesting, because in many cases, nobody is doing anything particularly wrong. Sure, there are a few bad eggs in every group, but the problem being highlighted here, is that there are too many people visiting popular areas. Hidden gems are no longer hidden...
If you are not sure if you need to upgrade your suspension, are you sure you really need those upgraded bumpers? Serious question.
As much as is reasonable, I usually suggest trying to stay as close to stock as possible, and coming to your own conclusions about what needs to be upgraded. My...
It seems like when it comes to 4x4 vehicles (with the exception of full size trucks), manufacturers are happy to sell fewer units at higher margins, than more units, at lower margins.
I don't have anything particularly impressive from a photography perspective, but I'll throw this one up anyways.

Congratulations on getting a new truck headed your way.
The orange colour is cool. I had an Inferno Orange Canyon (first gen), and the colour got a lot of complements.
I also found that the crew cab short bed was far more popular on dealer lots than the crew cab long bed when I was looking...
My wife's car has Continental Extreme Winter Contact tires on it right now. I'm very satisfied overall, though braking in deep snow is a little worse than expected, due in part to the car's overexcited ABS.
My new Sierra came from the factory with Continental CrossContact LX20. They are very...
I'm very interested to see how the Gladiator handles storage for bulky items in the rear cab space, when the seats are not in use. I hate what GM has done with the Colorado in that regard. A flat (or nearly flat) and unobstructed floor is what I like to see when seats are folded.
Sales to pretenders are needed to make off road vehicles economically viable. If it was only the hardcore who bought them, sales would be too low to make the vehicle worth producing.
The Colorado had a similar roll-out with only gas in 2015, then diesel in 2016, then ZR2 in 2017. The staggered roll outs allow for not only a more relaxed development schedule, but it also keeps the truck in the news year after year.
