Agree completely. When I was young, "made in Japan" was still a knee-jerk pejorative, and then came Toyota, Honda, Sony, Minolta, etc. No doubt that China will do the same in their time.
I have a single 37-quart ARB. I have a transit bag, but have yet to use it, so I can't say what difference it makes. But I can say that the ambient temperature makes a big difference. I'm using mine right now in rural west Texas, and the daytime temperature is 106 F. The compressor runs a...
The 1GR-FE is a great engine; I don't doubt it will go a lot farther than 325K miles if it has been maintained and used synthetic oil. Mine has about half that many miles and still drives like new, and doesn't burn or leak a single drop of oil between changes.
Fuji is having some kind of sale on X-Pro1 bodies and lenses, or at least bundles thereof: http://www.fujifilmcamerasavings.com/

The 22RE will run nearly forever, as long as you don't lug it and you change the timing chain and guides on schedule. One of the best engines ever designed by Toyota IMO.

I bet it is - the driver's name was Herb, though I only know him from that one week-long trip. He was from southern California. I gave him ******** because he trailered the Bronco to Utah, and I drove my FJ40 all the way from Texas. His was a cool rig though, really well done. The nicest Bronco...
From the photos it looks like you got a great deal to me, if it runs at all. Solid basis for a good build. And my favorite Cruiser color too! Congratulations and have fun with your build.
I've driven that trail before and it is pretty. It was originally part of the Hole in the Rock pioneer trail. From the bottom, you can get on the Hotel Rock trail and into the Dark/Mule Canyon Wilderness areas and Ruin Canyon on the other side.
