I have tried disconnecting from all 3 pins- center pin is the easiest way to disconnect/ reconnect in my view. When in camp, I remove the trailer side of the MC and leave a locking pin in the hole.

I use a P2 as well, I have used it in the Jeep and my wife's Honda Pilot. One controller, two cars. Works great.

If its primarily for dust, I will pass. There are lots of times that I would take in more dust with than without a snorkel. If its for water, I would have to be crossing water that is approaching 3 feet high for it to be of use vs the standard placement of the airbox, and if that is the case I...

I think the first question is, do you need a snorkel, based upon where you live and how you use your rig? Living the the SW, in my many offroad trips I can only think of only a time or two where it might have come in handy and then only more for piece of mind.

You just described a fair percentage of the builders/ fabricators that cater to our industry.

Not sure if a TD kitchen interests you, but I strongly share your desire for minimum set up. Here is what I conceived and had built for me. Mounted stove, wash basins instead of a sink, 14 gallons of water, cooler slide integrated, lots of storage. HTH

Would help to know what features you want and dont want- sink, integrated stovetop, fridge/ cooler or none, etc.
