    WD21 Pathfinder Photos!

I've had my WD21 for coming up on a year now. Its seen a lot of dirt in that year and I have been nothing but impressed by it. Here are some ExPo approved sample photo's:

How many miles on your Samurai?

We rebuilt my Dad's '87 motor at around 90k because it was smoking. My '86 motor went for about 150k before its rebuild. They are good, solid, simple motors, but I would say that they are nowhere near as reliable as a Toyota 22r.

How to Season a Pie Iron

This is hot off the grill, so it looks super glossy. After its been in the fire a few times when you've been using it for cooking it'll dull the exterior a bit. It doesn't hurt to put another coating on it, but as long as food isn't sticking to badly to it and there is no rust, you should be fine.

How to Season a Pie Iron

So you just got your new Pie Iron and you're all ready to start making savory Ruebens and sautéed mushrooms. But wait! The Pie Iron looks a little strange, its silver not the dark, glossy black that you expected. Whats going on here? Well, your Pie Iron hasn't been seasoned yet. That silver...

Tacoma to Trooper, New Isuzu Owner

My Dad bought a '95 Trooper a bit ago and I have to say I am genuinely impressed with these vehicles. Stout, roomy, decent power and handle themselves well off road. I'm glad to see more and more people taking notice of these rigs.

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

If you can find a Cayenne in good running order for around $20k, I would be impressed. My cursory searches have found me none in running order for less than $56k. So heres the deal. What you did with the Sidekick took ingenuity and skill. I'm sure many gaffed at the price tag, but the effort...

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

I don’t think anyone has suggested that a Cayenne could make it up this “Porcupine Corkscrew” that you mention. I think most of the questions have been due in large part to the cost of entry for this type of vehicle. In this particular sub forum of Expedition Portal, $50k (about the cheapest I...

What is the longest expo you did in your Suzuki?

Mine was a DD for 11 years in Salt Lake traffic, while not LA, can get bad. My Dad drove his as a DD for 20 years. Its all about pedal to the floor and driving like you would on a motorcycle, assume no one notices you.

What is the longest expo you did in your Suzuki?

With no stops for fuel or food; four days, three nights with two people in the vehicle. I feel I could have easily pushed it to seven days no problem before needing to resupply.

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

I guess at this point I'm just playing devils advocate here, but what luxury features does the Cayenne or G500 have that you desire? Where do you intend to take the vehicle? Have you considered Discoveries, Range Rovers, late model Trooper/Acura SLX's, Infiniti QX4's? All those vehicles can be...

    Expedition Samurai Build

Oh, the Suzuki G13A, my old friend. I think I've rebuilt half a dozen by now. Looks like you've got some nice weather at least!

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

Why a G500? Just curious. You could pick up an older Gelandawagen for substantially cheaper than a newish G500. Same basic vehicle, but without all the luxury features. Don't call me a hater, but I'm just not following the desire to build a expedition rig out of a hyper expensive luxury...

    Kamp Kitchn

Got one response from the guy and never heard from him again, which was dissapointing. It was a Seadam, the guy had told me Ceadam, but the Internet told me the correct spelling. I had asked the guy to send me some pictures, never heard back after several attempts. Oh well. I'll keep looking for...
