Yes, the last update has removed those POIs. I’ve contacted Garmin and they are looking the problem.
This happened about a year ago with the iOverlander POI - that problem was fixed with a software update.
You might want to try the default fix from Garmin which is to reinstall the maps (via...
The Garmin HD Digital cable. It works but initial sync takes awhile. So, if you power up the device and select a destination you will not get traffic along the route if you select the traffic tab. I can’t remember the actual verbiage but it’s searching for a signal. Once underway you will get...
My Overlander came with one RAM mount. I just switched to using the RAM mount in my Jeep as the smaller diameter Garmin mount could not hold the Overlander over rough terrain. The HD Traffic cable works well too. I only use that while traveling in the RV.
For those of you using macOS to access your Overlander, you can download the Android File Transfer utility to access all the files on the Overlander. Download the utility here
While I have not not tried, my understanding is that it's possible to “sideload” .apk files into the device. .apk apps...
Just finished a 6k mile trip with the Overlander in "RV" mode along with several off-road trips. The RV guidance worked will as all low bridges were avoided and the road selected for routing matched other RV applications. Offroad, the Overlander performed as expected following tracks or forest...
Well, sort of. Both options record tracks. Track Recorder will record your adventure but you need to remember to turn it on. It also will start your InReach tracking feature if you have the InReach synced to the Overlander. When you turn Track Recorder off you are asked if you want to Resume...
Glad to see another taking the plunge :)

I don't upgraded maps directly via the Overlander because 1) I like...
SteerSmarts makes more than the steering stabilizer. I’d look at upgrading your drag link, track bar and tie rod etc. Makes a big difference.
AEV has a high capacity coil set that does wonders for a heavy Jeep.
Keep your hi-lift jack out of the way and clean. Worked great for me but I sold my Hi-Lift jack and don't need this anymore.

Just tested the "flip" option and it does indeed flip the image. Meaning the BC35 will work as a forward facing camera. You can also remove the guidelines.
If you are thinking of a button that says back-nav then no.
There are 2 options for recording and following tracks. One is to turn on the Track Recorder and the other is to turn on the Travel History. Each is a bit different but both record breadcrumbs. Once recorded you can follow the...
Awesome! I’m going to order a BC35 next month.
Maps Updated
My trip to Mexico was postponed so I decided to update the maps on the Overlander. I updated South America first, rebooted and the North America. They updated successfully and did not remove the iOverlander POIs. So, one of the system...
