Propane canister mount to outside of rear door?

That's a tank for fueling an engine. It dispenses liquid propane, not vapor. It is not compatible with RV appliances, cookstoves, lanterns, or heaters. It is designed to mount horizontally replacing the spare tire UNDER a truck or van. It's also $1,300!

    16" Wheels on '94 E150?

Yeah some OLD Fords had the same bolt pattern in a 16" wheel. 1940s stuff, for example. Not only would those solid wheels hinder brake cooling but I wouldn't trust them under the heavy weight and magnified brake force of my van either. I've seen an old, factory riveted wheel from a 6 cylinder...

    16" Wheels on '94 E150?

Burleyman found them while searching on his own. I have them physically installed on my van. Odds are, they DO exist. The lug pattern is traditional Ford F100, F150, Bronco, E100, E150, etc: 5 x 5.5". It's the same as traditional Dodge half-ton stuff but the Ford center bore is usually larger...

Just the wheel, no ridge for the traditional dogdish to grab

    16" Wheels on '94 E150?

Dunno about hubcaps but I have 16" wheels from a 2004 E-150 on my 1989 E-150. I have steel wheels but aluminum ones were also made. My centercaps (original to 16" wheels) snap onto the lugnuts so I had to change lugnuts and my lug wrench too.

Sprinter 4WD Conversion Idea, GMT-800 IFS.

The load needn't be bending for that hole to be a concentration of stress. Deburr it well. Keep moving. Nothing to do about it now and like you said, you're not bolting that trans to a fire-breathing torque monster.

When it's time to sell, do you leave your rig as-is, or pull parts for the next build (if you can)?

Leave it. It's 7 years old. Surely there's something you'd do better/different next time; here's your chance. Time and labor to remove it plus the risk of damaging something along the way should be considered.

Yep, me too. If it moves enough to be normal in forward, it'll move enough to be sketchy in reverse. Think backing up a slick hill where the rear end doesn't have traction due to weight transfer but the front is very heavy so has good grip.

Budget Friendly approach to "weekender" overlanding rig...

If you don't already own the 900w 2-stroke Harbor Freight generator, consider a 1000w Sortsman inverter generator. I paid $139 @ Home Depot. No oil:gas to mix, MUCH quieter, better reliability, not sure if it's lighter but it's only 19 lbs so certainly not heavy. Runs my 5k BTU AC like a dream...

Combo Water Boiler/Furnace Heater Now Here in N. America

Yeah the EPA would charge thousands just to certify a diesel unit IF it met their standards on the first try. It wouldn't, as-is, so add the cost of redesigning the unit then testing and multiply it by however many times those standards change. It's their choice because they know better. That's...

Captain Planet: When two E350s Combine

Aluminess bumpers are just as capable of shrugging off that impact as the OE bumper pictured. Were you disparaging some other material?

Sprinter 4WD Conversion Idea, GMT-800 IFS.

Nah. Just measure what came out and match it. That's been perfect for me several times and I had to reset and add a couple thousandths once. Much better setup though as it'll last forever, can't ever collapse on its own, and can be installed "less carefully" without catastrophic results. I say...

Summer of '69- Econoline Poptop Resto-Mod

Really hard to believe you added a heim to one end, a clevis to the other, and didn't exceed a 2" overall increase in length, much less jam nuts and a gap. The garden variety 5/16" threaded heim is 1-3/8" from center-of-the-eye to its base and a "short" clevis is 1.26" and a standard is 1.89"...

    Real MPGs for your rig?

Dude, something's wrong. How many miles are on your spark plugs? How aggressively do you drive? I mention spark plugs because I know of a couple Ford mod motors that have seen 2-3 mpg improvements from fresh plugs after 100k miles.
