Goal Zero Yeti 400 VS KaliPAK 601

Perhaps...if you want to lug around 2-3X the weight. I'm not here to compare standard batteries to Lithium. There are other threads for that. For my purposes, the advantages of Lithium in the portable ArkPak far outweigh (no pun intended) standard batteries.

Goal Zero Yeti 400 VS KaliPAK 601

The Battle Born battery is 6.875 wide x 12.75 Long x 9 high. It should fit snugly in the ArkPak (7.08 wide x 12.99 long x 9.37 high I.D.)

Goal Zero Yeti 400 VS KaliPAK 601

Yes it does...starting with the AP730 released about a year and a half ago. The guy at Battle Born even went so far as to research the ArkPak to make sure it met the charging requirements.

Goal Zero Yeti 400 VS KaliPAK 601

You're right. About the only thing the expensive Kalisaya seems to be good for is charging portable devices like cell phones. It's overkill for that and inadequate for running anything like a fridge. I've been using an ArkPak with an Odyssey battery for more than a year to power my 63-qt ARB...

Ark Pak - Questions and Queries

Anyone using the ArkPak 730 with a Lithium Ion battery? I've been using a 50-lb Odyssey PC-1500T but have been thinking about switching to a 100 ah LiFePO4 since the prices have come down slightly. However, I no longer see anything about Lithium Ion compatibility on the ArkPak website. Were...

Ever find yourself in a remote area when camera run out of battery------MEET THE PAK

Yeah...like I'm going to buy something that weighs at least 60X what a spare camera battery weighs and costs 15X as much as a spare battery. So I could buy 15 spare camera batteries for the same price and still be carrying less bulk and less than 1/4 the weight. And only 2 of those reviews on...

Goal Zero Yeti 400 VS KaliPAK 601

Only 2 of those reviews are from verified purchasers who actually bought the product on Amazon...and each of those reviews is 10 words or less. All of the unverified reviews are rather verbose...which seems a bit suspicious. I would never buy your product for several reasons. First, you tried...

Drone footage of Broken Arrow trail Sedona, AZ

For an 11-year-old, great shots! As a professional photographer and FAA-certified drone pilot, the best advice I can offer is to have him practice moving the controls (yaw especially) more gently and slower rather than in jerky movements. He will get better at it with experience.

1st Time to Moab and 5 days to plan it.....What are the best trails?

After 43 years living in Moab, Hurrah Pass/Chicken Corners is still one of my favorite trails....easy trail and stunning, mind-boggling views all the way. It's an easy day trip from Moab. That trail and the Shafer Trail from Island in the Sky back to Moab are the two I almost always take...

    Refrigerator question

I have kept fridges (Waeco, FridgeFreeze, ARB) year-round in my vehicles for 15 years....from below zero F to well over 100 F. No problems.

    Remote control cameras/Drones/Quadcopters

You shouldn't be seeing any vibration in your footage...unless it's a Mavic thing. Make sure you've removed all the gimbal packing material. On one of my newer Phantoms, I was very unhappy with the vibrating footage I was getting...until I noticed a discrete piece of styrofoam packing material...

    A Scrambler's Homecoming

I'd be surprised if the shocks I removed were OEM. I don't remember for sure, but I think I may have put new ones on when I added a leaf to the springs in the mid-80's. I could not find any manufacturer's name on the old ones. But the markings and numbers I did find led me to believe that...

    A Scrambler's Homecoming

Thanks...it's hard to take a bad picture around Moab. I've been trying for well over 40 years. So in the spirit of calling this a "build thread," I'll recount a few things I did last week. I spent a couple of days polishing the Jeep…again. I still wasn't happy with the appearance of...

As far as I know, drones are banned in all national parks...as they should be.

    Coming back to a Jeep.

Congrats on the CJ. My first Jeep was a Scrambler that I bought new in 1982 and sold in 1996. After owning a couple of the newer Jeeps (most recently a '13 JKUR), I discovered they just aren't as much fun as a CJ. Thankfully, I was able to track down my ol' CJ8 and convince the guy to whom I...

    Remote control cameras/Drones/Quadcopters

According to the latest from DJI, all orders for the Mavic Pro placed before Nov. 3rd will be "cleared" within 7-8 weeks, putting delivery time around Christmas. There was apparently a problem "integrating a part into the Mavic Pro." More here...
