I'm waiting to see the price as well. I expect it to be more expensive for sure based on the same comments above, I'm just hoping it won't be too excessive.
$4k for the diesel upgrade is a little ridiculous despite the increased torque and mpg.
$4k for the 4xe upgrade I could live with, but...
I've had them for some time now with zero issues articulating off pavement despite our travels on some very entertaining trails. They work for me as my Jeep isn't heavy all the time and so I can dial a bit of air in when I am loaded down or towing. I leave maybe 5 psi in just to keep their...
Just a note on the airbags, while it is possible to slip them in with the springs in place, I found it much quicker to just pull the spring and install them.
I have the same AEV lift on my JK which is also on the heavy side, but not heavy all the time. I added air bags in the rear springs to help with when I have an extra load or I'm towing and it works out nicely. It's really a question if you are heavy all the time and if the answer is yes, then...
I ended up adding a slide-out drawer/tray to my plywood platform. I wanted it high enough to not interfere with the tailgate table when deployed. I also didn't want a full drawer as we like to have our kitchen supplies mobile. I did not put a back on the setup as I wanted to be able to access...
I'm going to make a bench seat out of mine...LOL
A couple lugs on mine are stripped and I cut the shock mounts off of it to re-use so it's not really worth selling it to me.
I loved the idea of the Hemi right up until the 4xe showed up! I'm with you, the 4xe makes so much more sense on every level. I think a lot of people don't realize the power of electric motors and the torque associated with it. I know I didn't until I had a Fiat 500e as a commuter. It had 22k...
I live in SoCal and 3 of my 4 AEV Bilstein 5100 series shocks started leaking after about 50k. I ended up going with the adjustable Rancho RS9000 series as a replacement due to their performance on washboard roads. To be honest, I don't adjust them very often so I'm not sure the adjustable...
I'm actually starting to think they did nothing the first time. We purchased the 4Runner from this same dealer and had a brilliant easy buying experience, but after reading some more Yelp reviews it appears the theme is great sales department, horrible service department.
I wanted to give an update for what it's worth.
The dealer went through the brake system again and found everything working perfectly. Shocking!! I figured that was going to be the result after the inane conversation with both the Service Advisor and the Shop Foreman. It was clear neither had...
One issue with the diesel, for those of us who want to travel into Mexico, is the lack of ultra low-sulfur diesel availability. Mexico was going to switch over in 2021 but now that's been pushed back until 2024.
Considering the diesel version of the Wrangler is 394lbs heavier than the 3.6 version, it's probably not that surprising, although it means some obvious extra wiggle room payload wise on the 3.6 versions.
Having owned an electric car, I am very interested in the 4xe as I see the benefits of...
Have fun with the build!
I purchased these BAL-C jacks from Amazon for my trailer, maybe the company changed? They are in stock currently:

Welcome to the obsession! These trailers are great fun.
About halfway down page 2 of my build thread, you can see what I went with for lighting and location. The 6 inch LED tail lights are very bright, and the side marker lights have been great in keeping people from changing lanes into me...
