Hey,
Congrats on the Rhino deal; great products from them.
Tell Kos to watch out for bootleggers at the Expo copying your design. Just ask @BritKLR about knockoffs these days.
My griddle is a Nordic that I got at Walmart a long time ago. Works better on the Stansport than on my 5-burner range in the house.
Nonstick aluminum, easy to clean. Never had anything stick to it for long.
Dog owners never ask this question.
Put dry dog food into the pan, let it soak up the grease, results in one very happy dog.
Now that Jessi's playing fetch for St Peter we use the paper towel method. Followed by Clorox wipe, quick rinse. No real grey water this way.
Heard back from California Innovations this morning and they're going to send me replacement t-thingies under their warranty. Said it will take 2 to 3 weeks though.
Wish they just still sold the parts at Walmart. A bird in the hand and all that.
...at least the parts will be free
I have the Stansport version and like it a whole bunch too.
My griddle fits across the three burners perfectly and, let's just say, hashbrowns have never been better. Fried rice too.
Some things like to be cooked very hot and very fast. This stove does it in spades.
Does low temps okay too but...
California Innovations bought a roto-molding factory outside Atlanta and my coworker's buddy manages it. No more China on their higher end stuff.
But they don't make the coolers that the thread was started about anymore. That was why I brought the thread back --- couldn't get replacement parts.
Over 5 years in use and my first black T-latch broke. Tried Walmart for a replacement (they used to have them hanging in the aisle near the coolers) and they don't have them. Don't even sell this style anymore. Tried the link for Wally Dot Com but they're out of stock. Contacted California...
We took delivery on the Aliner. It ain't perfect right out of the box but it is a sweet trailer. Camping on Allatoona Lake right now and sorting out the newness

Finally picked it up yesterday, had the dealer install the PD converter and LiFePo4 battery. Tows like a dream. But it's bigger than the dim specs said and BARELY fit in the garage. The big ole spare is mounted on the back bumper.
Mrs Dweller and crew at work love it.
Now begins the epic...
Finally got to play with one over the weekend. @JackW wasn't kidding; it's just so engineered that it makes other RTTs look privative.
@Skeptic brought it along even though he and Elaine stayed in his trailer and Tom/Evan stayed in their truck tent thingie. Thanks for the tent tour, Kos...
Chris had a Base Camp --- Lance now and some sort of big travel trailer.
Dendy famously had, what was it... ...Conquest? Then the 440? And now his Airstream.
And I went down the teardrop rabbit hole and have an Aliner on order.
Kenny had a Compact too. @chips95 --- but he also got a...
I had two problems with fixing/maintaining my Conqueror ---- non-US sizes on everything. For wheel bearings I had to go to a big bearing house and eyeball replacements; it worked.
And the power converter. Jeez, when it fried I just pulled it out and rewired the entire trailer. I just put in...
FWIW, we did four 9-day camping trips last year and lots of shorter ones.
Have 4 more booked for this year and have done two shorter ones already.
We use most of the mentioned mitigations, have plenty of 75% spray and Lysol wipes handy, masking when appropriate.
We're also both vaxxed. I got my...
I found this at Walmart years ago and was using it on my range at home that has 5 burners. Goes over three perfectly. Coated aluminum that cleans up easily with a damp cloth.
Here's a pic from Saturday while camping. Sorry it's fuzzy; was really really early and barely light out.
