97 Montero - repair advice requested - brake dust shields

I think you need the spacing they add to the mounting. Seems like a small amount but i am remembering that causing me a headache once.

Need Alternator Belt Tensioner Bracket for 1995 SR

Did your mechanic break it? Rookie mistake and it's a very expensive part, you can work around it by levering the pully then tightening it. The bracket doesn't hold the load, the pully does. That's why guys break them, they crank on the adjuster without loosening the pully.

    Shizen's Gen3 camper build

The stock hybrid LSD is better than nothing but not by much, it works until you don't have traction then it doesn't work at all.

It does help, I'll keep working on it and trying different things. probably start uploading to my personal YouTube channel and doing weirder stuff as well as experimenting more with types of shots. Zoom in this video was terrible but I learned pretty quick that it was a bad idea, looked ok on my...

2nd/3rd row seats fold to bed

Dude, after you texted me i went and tried mine. You were right, it should slide way forward. One of mine was sticky but i tumbled it forward then re set it in the seating position and it worked after that. Seems to be real picky about its starting position.

After everything I've done to the truck to keep it cool like massive electric fans and custom radiators (3 row copper and 2 row dual pass aluminum) the best thing was proper gearing and a well maintained cooling system. It's now back to a stock radiator and new OEM fan and clutch, i do have my...

    The old 1999 build thread

Shaking it down for the Sierras this summer, i'm loving it! This is the best this truck has ever been and I've still got some big plans for it. Glad I kept it LEGIT!

I like motor and scraping noises as well, they're there in this video but I made them really quiet because there was a bit of off topic chatting as well. PAJ_ERO (Green Monty) and I (Blue Monty only shown parked) have crawler gears so our trucks don't have to work very hard offroad even while...

Not sure anyone really likes these videos BUT i need to practice before the Sierras. I want to make a really good quality video so please give me some feedback. Most of the videos i have up are shot with my phone, i will be switching to my gopro as soon as i get one of those glide camera...

Offset for 35x12.5 on gen 3 Montero

At least one of the options is s really good tire and the other is a tractor tire. Ha ha ha, swampers are cool sometimes.

Offset for 35x12.5 on gen 3 Montero

34x10.5R17, suspension lift doesn't matter in Gen 3's because the geometry is fixed. Look up montypower's gitout gen 3, he ran 35's then went to the 34's and it was totally capable. It's worth noting that Gen 3's only have 95mm front CV's which are strong enough for 35's but they do break...
