    re power questions especially 4g63

With a bellhousing and proper flexplate the 4G64 will bolt up, it's a really nice motor. I swapped one in place of a 3.0 a while back they are very simple engines much like the 3.0.

Alignment and stance woes following front end refresh

Cut your losses and fire that shop. Kind of sounds like you just need to start over, this stuff isn't hard. Another thing you need to stop is trying to get your ride height to spec by measuring the bolt, I'm guessing your springs have some 180k miles on them so they will never hit the new spec...

Alignment and stance woes following front end refresh

A few things, before you align you need to set your ride height where YOU want it and evenly on both sides. This might take you some time but get it where you want it visually height wise and adjust it little by little measuring from a control arm to the frame (gap between bumpstops for...

Is U.S getting New Montero by 2020 ?

If Mitsubishi were to build pickup trucks here that might help them be more competitive much like Toyota and Nissan have done however I don't think it makes sense with a new Montero. One reason is the American workers seem to have a really hard time building Japanese cars with the same quality...

Is U.S getting New Montero by 2020 ?

I've never been the first to get ANYTHING. I'm not that guy waiting in line for the next tech gizmo but I will sell everything I have and buy the new Sport if they bring it here. It's been out for a couple years now, proven itself offroad and it's not a bloated street queen despite it's looks...

Is U.S getting New Montero by 2020 ?

I optioned out a new Sport (Mitsubishi Australia) with everything offroad, locking diff, skid plates, snorkel, rubber floor mats, cargo mat, neoprene seat covers and some other stuff and it came in just under 37k after currency conversion. Hopefully they let us option out base and mid trim...

Is U.S getting New Montero by 2020 ?

86'd, I'm sure a select few were kept and assimilated into the Nissan camp (hopefully). Sure would be a bummer to get a Montero badged Nissan anything stateside, i think Mitsubishi has too much pride in the Montero name to allow it on anything unworthy. It's their flagship vehicle AND the new...

Is U.S getting New Montero by 2020 ?

We need the new Sport bad, they had one it more here testing before the Nissan takeover but Nissan immediately canned all Mitsubishi's North American R&D. Hopefully we get that truck and not some cheap imitation Nissan.

Show us where you drink your coffee with Monti.

Went wheeling before work one morning (in the Mighty Max) and if i had a coffee I surely spilled it. I sent my boss this pic in a text saying I'll still be the first guy to clock in.

Making Skid plates for my Gen 3

I didn't mean it like that, It's just an adjustment. I plan to sell the Gen 3 and drive a Gen 1 my friend is giving me, the down side is I had planned on a factory air locking rear and 4.63's for the Gen 3 but i'll make some cool Gen 1 parts instead. I still have access to 6 or 7 Gen 3's locally...

Making Skid plates for my Gen 3

So here's the finished set so far, plus I whipped up some sliders. Probably make the sliders a bit wider next time but this build is more of a daily driver/wheeler so the least amount of extreme while still being able to do any trail I would like. I did a near color match on the sliders to match...

Amayama Mitsu OEM parts A cautionary experience

The Korean parts are really good these days, However i've had problems with Amayama canceling my orders for Korean parts (discontinued by Mitsubishi but carried on my Hyundai). At least you got your parts, there are also Mitsubishi parts coming from Thailand (also good quality)

Compatibility issue with Mitsu ASA Parts program with Windows 10 help please?

X2, Windows 10 kind of sucks. I just got a Win10 laptop as well, already i need to fix it with a Linux install. Then i can just run ASA in a dedicated virtual Windows and everything else Linux. Alternatively you can just use the online version of AS A, it's not as good but will easily get what...

Have all your new parts on the bench, before you start

I heard the owner or someone of importance over at Ninja is going through chemotherapy currently so they are backed up and slow to get things out. I think getting everything refreshed was a good call, the wait will be worth it.

Have all your new parts on the bench, before you start

Yeah, Monteros are pretty easy to get service parts for. It's the trim and parts that should outlast the truck that are hard to get.

The 8" lockers are all the same, I took a Detroit from an 8" LP and put it in an 8" HP AND PA_JERO took his 8" HP ARB and put it into an 8" LP. The different ones are the 7.25 axles, nothing works in those except the old Starion LSD.
