Any Gen 3 ARB Bumper with Grey color in the wild?

I definitely have the grey one, you can really tell in person. It has a pearl or sparkle too unlike the black, it looks really good HOWEVER ARB has been known to switch greys throughout the years so their stock photo is probably the color they had back in 1999/2000 when the red truck in the...

Any Gen 3 ARB Bumper with Grey color in the wild?

I tried, expedition portal keeps giving me failed messages. The color is neat though, it has a sparkle to it.

    Wanted: gen 3, 2003+ Montero, <$8500

Buy in Az, fly out and come wheeling with me. There have been a couple nice ones here lately, I'd offer mine but it has 155k. It's still possible to find them around 100k but keep in mind you will still need to do the timing and associated maintenance so plan for those expenses. Welcome

Squealing serpentine belt on 01 Montero

There are two Mitsubishi OEM belts, Mitsubishi/Gates belt and the superior Mitsuboshi belt like most Japanese OEMs use. One thing I've noticed is that more of our Mitsubishi parts are being made locally (USA) vs 10 years ago.

CAN I USE MY GEN 1 UPPER CONTROL ARM SPINDLES...

Gen 1 UCA's have metal on metal bushings and Gen 2's have the large rubber bushings, that's why there are no grease zerks. Pretty much silicone them on installation and you're done, you could drill and tap for grease zerks if you wanted but only the outer rubber or poly is exposed so a spray...

    Montero wheeling videos

I added some truck mounted videos from Utah and a short one from Fordyce creek. I like these better than free standing stuff, have any of you guys used glide camera mounts or handheld stabilizers?

2nd Gen Monteros - Rare Birds - But Aren't Worth Much - Why?

For overlanding I'd go IFS all day every day, hard 4 wheeling I'd still go with a good IFS all day (Montero IFS = Strongest IFS available in a consumer 4x4), Rock crawling solid axle for sure. People don't even begin to understand how awesome the IFS is in a Montero, to give an idea the Montero...

2nd Gen Monteros - Rare Birds - But Aren't Worth Much - Why?

As a Montero super connoisseur and having been in this for a long time I will say that values are on the rise for the first time EVER. I've only ever known them to depreciate in value, that has changed with the term "Overlander". Finally people are seeing them for what they are and they are...

    diesel questions

I did the roller rocker upgrade and a little extra wastegate preload, pretty good upgrade. I would get a pretty regular 25mpg overall, they don't do great on the highways here in AZ. Our speed limits are 65mph and 75mph.

    diesel questions

Hyundai Kiki pump, licensed from bosch. 85mph is screaming even with 4.63's, install the 4.88 or 5.29's from the Pajero and do 65MPH tops. Get a pyrometer.
