Post pictures of your Land Rover.

Here's my LR3 on Italian Creek Rd in CO The little tiny black dot on the side of the mountain behind the Rover is a rolled over vehicle. I think it was a Tahoe.

Outlander Sherpa II trailer for sale $10,500 (REDUCED)

Thanks BWJ! Yes, it's a great trailer, and I've enjoyed it immensely. I've towed it to nearly all of the 48 Continental United States, and it has served me well. Unfortunately, it still requires quite a bit of work to set everything up and take everything down, so I'm looking at the Cricket...

Outlander Sherpa II trailer for sale $10,500 (REDUCED)

After much deliberation, I've decided to sell my beloved Sherpa and go with something a little more self-contained. I've done several different configurations to this trailer, but the way it sits now is as follows: - Standard Sherpa II with raised rack over main storage box - Solid axle with...

Hey Nick, I love the Tactical bumper, but it's a pain in the *** to put on. It took quite a while. I'm not sure if I'd go through all the trouble again. I like having the tow points and the added protection, so I'm certainly glad I have it, but I'd have to think long and hard before doing it...

    Most capabile three row vehicle

If you're able to talk her into used, I would highly suggest a 2008/9 LR3.

    LR3 mystery noises, any guesses?

I had a similar experience a couple years ago. It sounded like the wheels were going to lock up any second. I had it towed to the dealership, only to find there was a tiny rock grinding on the brake pad.

    looking for minimalist hiking shoes/boots

Man, I really hate to hear that. I'm in the Air National Guard, and I was really thinking about getting a pair of these. I have some Nike tactical boots, and they're pretty darn comfortable, but still not minimalist.

    New Lock 'N' Roll Hitch

The slot is facing down. I've pulled my trailer coast-to-coast without any problems.

    Convertible FJ Cruiser

Looks too much like a PT cruiser. It would be better with a removable hard-top.

    New Lock 'N' Roll Hitch

Mine is installed exactly as it came from the manufacturer too, it's just backward. But, I like it the way I have it. I just thought it was interesting.

    New Lock 'N' Roll Hitch

That's interesting... Mine is reversed. The female part is on the trailer, and the male part is attached to the adjustable receiver arm. It works out well, and kinda makes more sense. That way you can back the truck up underneath the female end, and then drop it down on the male end.

    TXST8tj homebuilt 'Sherpa' type build

Good luck with the build. I've had my Sherpa II for nearly 4 years now, and I absolutely love it. I had my top rack built a little higher than the main box to allow for a variety of options up top. I'm incredibly happy I had it built that way, as I'm able to secure water cans, firewood, wet...

    Turbo Tent

I recently bought a Turbo Tent Deluxe, and it's amazing. If the Jet Tent is made of the same material as the regular Oz tents, the Turbo is very similar. I've had both, and I prefer the Turbo by far. It's much quicker to set up, and way easier to pack. I'm sure the Jet is great, but the...

    Outlander Sherpa storage box sizes

Give Robert a call. I believe the boxes are all custom made for each trailer. My Sherpa II is slightly different from the base models. I opted for some boxes to be larger, and some smaller. I think the side boxes on mine are about 30" wide x 18" tall x 8" deep.

Talk to me about the LR3

For those of you who are still within your warranty period, check your dash carefully. Mine started to split on the airbag seam a couple weeks ago. I'm within my extended warranty, but not the factory warranty. I asked them to check it out and see what could be done. Unfortunately, it's not...

Tarp/floor covering for INSIDE of Kodiak 10x10?

I use drop cloths outside, under my awning, too. It provides a "living room" (point of reference) for my dogs to stay, and just a clean place to place things other than on the ground. They're easy to pick up and toss in the Trasharoo to take home and get cleaned up for the next outing.

Tarp/floor covering for INSIDE of Kodiak 10x10?

^^^^^ That's what I use too. I got several on Amazon for really cheap. It's easy to throw them in the wash when you get home.
