Disco Frame stretch For the discovery frame stretch Evan Amaya had previously completed several swaps and as luck would have he still had a set of the fabricated parts. we set the tub and bulkhead in place to get the right length for the frame splice.

Not sure why you think you can do a conversion for $5-6,000. Even if you did all the work yourself it would be tough to achieve swapping in another gasser add diesel to that and ouch the coust climbs quickly You might want to find a low mileage take out and buy the whole engine...

Good point...With the RRC seats I feel you loose openness, I just like to look over my shoulder and see the whole interior The front seats will be D110 with headrests, seats will be recovered in gray leather.

The RRC seats were installed by the PO. I am replacing them with D110 rear low back seats. As you can see the supporting bracket needs additional structure and a redo on the welds. Also there is not a lot of leg room, to use RRC seats and gain leg room you would need to modify the wheel wells.

Seems to be the right way to go, I am actually considering doing the front like Mercedesrover did on his two builds. this "little" project is going from a birthday to anniversary now autumnal equinox present
