I think it will be hard to even get one installed in a rig within the 90 days of delivery since it is not engine which is supported by the aftermarket and you have to make your own engine mounts, cooling system etc.

The Jeep platforms TJ & JK are being supported with most of the ancillary...

The guys tuning those diesels say it can hold a lot of hp & torque, well over what it is rated for.

Thanks Dan, I am going to also rebuild it ( new bearings and syncros) or by a new one. there is a trans company called high gear that has new ones for $1650. waiting on a quote from a trans...
It was my understand that the NSG 370 started in wranglers 2005 prior to that it was the NP 3550 5 speed, but the 370 was used in other vehicles including Mercedes, so there are various ratios. It is rated for 275ftlb of torque so the stock R2.8 will be fine. If you start turning up the juice...

Yes it comes with every thing engine related, wire harness; Engine computer; pedal etc. It will be up to the specific application to then determine what additional parts will be needed such as engine trans adapter; intercooler; etc.
What will you do for a transmission?
It will be the NSG 370 6 speed. I am debating whether to rebuild it with new bearings and syncros ( parts are about $650+ $600 labor) or buy a new one for $1650 ( if I can trust the trans dealer)
I guess someone has to be first here so why not. This afternoon I purchased the engine from cummins and expect shipment mid October.
I decided against doing the conversion myself due to time constraints, the reality that I am still working on my 4BT / FJ40 conversion that turned into a total...
"KINGER" its ok you are correct the cost is nuts, it is not a rational decision.
The problem with modern engine conversion perception is the legacy of the chevy small block cost = cheap. I am still working on my FJ 40 4BT conversion and cost will exceed this project. I expect the total cost...
