I was just going to share your info with Bret....
I just mounted my 37" Yoko X-AT's, and got a used 37" ProComp MT for some beer--hoping it fits.
Bret, why move away from your FWC to something like a Supertramp (if they built a flatbed model). What do you dislike about your FWC?
To be clearer, the RAM BaseCamp9(H) above says "Pass Through Window to Cab - vinyl snap in door/cover." With the black cover on in the pics, it's difficult to tell how large this window is and if a person could squeeze through in an emergency or not.
I was expecting all Summit's to have at...
Looking awesome MH!
PS--I can attest to the HPI price tag, but I needed a custom flatbed vs a custom Bowen hybrid(excellent value for what they created).
Regarding the Owl Sherpa on the Sprinter, I can help answer questions on it, I know them intimately. Are you asking about the door hinge brackets-to-Sherpa plate fasteners? Or are you asking about the 1Up trays-to-the Sherpa attachment points?
There Vertical mount kit (separate from the 1Up tray...
OM617A (turbo'd) I-5 or an OM603A (turbo'd)? An OM606A w/ 603A injection pump would be incredible. These are popular for G-Wagen's, taken from the E-Class sedan.
Sweet, thx! I'll look into them. My tunnel box is pretty narrow so I'm hoping they have ones less wide.
I gave Dan at Carli my current front and rear axle weights for the leaf springs, and asked if my shocks needed a re-tune due to the weights. He said absolutely, as every kit they send out has...
I said I'm happy with the Morimoto XB's overall. Not worth the $ to me to buy OEM LED's. Moving on....
What's next...(some of this may sound boring)
-37s go on soon.
-Been working a little bit on organization in the crossframe box. Need to track down the appropriate size storage containers so...
Fully agreed on L-track. I almost had HPI add L-track to the exterior "rub rail side" of my flatbed, to allow me to alternatively tie the camper down with Torklift/Derringer turnbuckles, but since the L-track was a bolt-on, I learned HPI or I could do it later, so I opted to hold off on it. If...
Looking forward to a review of the CampFX. While it has more storage than other OEV models, OEV's are still light on storage vs some competition. Horses for courses.
Mine has the Garmin unit. I haven't used it much yet.
Unsure on the load limit for the rear accessory holder/rack. I do know that it not only mounts to the rear mechanical camper jack mounts, but also the dinette table mount is through the center of the accessory holder/rack too.
Agreed on...
The ATO AterraXL is definitely impressive. I'd say it's the hard-sided competitor to the OEV CampHBE (poptop).
Ver2(or is it ver3?), let's just say 2nd Gen, will have even more headroom as you mention. This will allow the 3 dinette windows to raise up for better visibility to outside.
From my...
Thanks for giving the camper thread some life;

People sleeping over there apparently.
6days? Sounds like the LA port issues.
Max and Jeremy at Technique Vehicle Outfitters (OR dealer for OEV) has the 1st production BaseCamp(called an S--what's that signify?) at their shop in Bend OR. The rig is getting upfitted now.
I agree on a BaseCampBase, this would be smart.
The new...
Ah, good info.
Someone on the Ford forum sent me this link, for any of you other Fordies out there; https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1517743-complete-how-to-halogen-to-led-heads-and-tails.html
No OEM LED's for me. Would require front bumper removal, and probably a few thousand bucks of parts...
I swear some other threads were talking about the new Tremor LED's. I've seen them on Tremor's and other new F-SD's(they're the lights with the bright ass lower lights shining in your mirrors when a truck is passing you).
I just did a quick Googles search and it appears it might be Lariat...
