Is the Disco in #5 an XD with gear to make it a CT clone? The paint looks more AA yellow and Sand Glow Beige to me, but maybe that is from the post process??

Cabela's had Scent Lok Savanna on sale so I picked up some pants and a shirt. That will hold me until late October than I can add some underarmour and later a coat. Can't wait till mid september when the first hunt has been planned.

That is true about resale, I recall a very nice looking CT clone that was built from an XD (I think) but it has a 4.3 vortec V6 under the bonnet. Good engine for sure but he was having a time selling it and taking all kinds of cheap shots. I don't know how it worked out for him.

I think it's safe to call the tour for Cadel as tomorrow is ceremonial but wouldn't it be cool if they (Cadel and Andy) went for broke all the way into Paris! Cadel was cooking today, great form and an epic way to win the tour. Only Greg Lemonds 8 sec win over Fignon ranks above it.

I am trying to decide if Cadel is that much better than Andy to pick up 57 seconds for the win. They both want it BAD and Cadel is a much better TT rider than Andy but is he 57 sec better??? Isn't it great to have a TdF this competitive! As for Tommy-I really do hope he finishes on the podium...

The LR3's are still pretty new (to us anyway) so I think it's too soon to make the call on long term reliability. Generally in LR circles they are found to be pretty reliable with the exception of maybe the air suspension. Not a tough fix to swap it out for coils if needed. As for a DII-the 04...

I'm guessing at the 7K but stock it's 6018 and when you add the rack,axles, tires, locking diffs, etc etc it has to be close to that. I've seen one power steering on a series and I know a guy that is adding it along with a 3.5 V8 ,auto tranny (not sure why) and A/C. He is doing this on a SIII...

4-5K is a high estimate but not unheard of. It all depends on how the vehicle has been cared for until you get it. With the age of DI's that can be several prior owners and no real way to know how they cared for it. I understand you want something very capable for very little $$ but that can be...
