OK, 10-4 to Brian and Jonathan. Brian, be sure to jam some java - no sleeping on the drive! Jonathan, no prob. I sent you my info, so feel free to let me know up until I leave - otherwise just show up if/when you want. BTW, I have compiled GPS routes/waypoints for the following trails...

    Flyingwil's Taco is growing up!

Damn Wil, nice job! I like the little touches like the hinge lock, and the plasti-coat. Seeing the fridge rollin' out the door of the Taco is VERY cool! I don't think I have seen that one yet! Your truck is coming along really nice. This is fun :lurk:

    Volkswagen Synchro Vanagon

Yes, that would be Wes' rig. Very sweet (and clean!) well maintained 4wd Syncro. He has added some goodies to it (including rear rack - see pic) and has since taken it on a western states tour as far north as Oregon, and back down through Utah. Very well laid out machine. Pics from the...

Best Low Budget Digital Camera ?

I am using the Panasonic 2300 mAh NiMH AA batteries from Costco with my Powershot A85 and have had excellent performance. I haven't done a formal test of the batteries, but I know I have shot well over 400mb using flash, LCD screen, and reviewing photos and the batteries were still going strong...

Best Low Budget Digital Camera ?

Here ya go... Canon A520 for $177 incl. 3-day shipping. Canon A520 review I have the predecessor to this camera (A85) and am very happy with it. The biggest advantage is that it's compact and highly portable which makes it easy to snap photos at any moment. The A520 seems to be an...

HiLift Jack on an ARB Front Bumper

Yes, a lot of people have them in the bed. You can get the Loc-Rac brackets for a simple mounting solution.

HiLift Jack on an ARB Front Bumper

The mounts I had on my old ARB bumper looked to be very stout with a broad weld. I bet they would be fine. On a Tacoma, I would be hesitant to mount any extra weight that far out front if it was a situation where you would easily be happy with it mounted somewhere between the axles. Not a...
