I am using the Panasonic 2300 mAh NiMH AA batteries from Costco with my Powershot A85 and have had excellent performance. I haven't done a formal test of the batteries, but I know I have shot well over 400mb using flash, LCD screen, and reviewing photos and the batteries were still going strong...
